Utilizing a multi-track cargo handling assembly on an amphibious air-cushion vehicle

Techniques involve utilizing a multi-track cargo handling assembly to guide individual cargo items in parallel tracks to an aft end of a deck of an amphibious air cushion vehicle when unloading from the aft end. Such a multi-track cargo handling assembly includes a framework constructed and arranged to couple with the deck of the amphibious air cushion vehicle, and a set of guide rails coupled with the framework. The set of guide rails defines the parallel tracks and is constructed and arranged to constrain movement of the cargo items along the parallel tracks.

The offshore jack-up has a hull and a plurality of moveable legs engageable with the seafloor. The offshore jack-up is arranged to move the legs with respect to the hull to position the hull out of the water. The method comprises securing the vessel with respect to the hull of the offshore jack-up when the hull is positioned out of the water and the legs engage the seafloor. A lifting mechanism mounted on the offshore jack-up engages with a cargo carrying platform positioned on the vessel. The platform is lifted with the lifting mechanism between a first position on the vessel and a second position clear of the vessel.

PROTECTOR ASSEMBLY FOR FLEXIBLE PIPE COILS AND METHOD OF USING SAME

A system includes a coil contacting base. The coil contacting base includes a radially curved outer surface with a radius of curvature less than or equal to a coil radius of curvature of an interior channel of a coil of spoolable pipe, and the coil contacting base includes a length greater than or equal to an axial dimension of the coil. The system also includes a side wall coupled to an inner surface of the coil contacting base. The side wall is configured to block circumferential movement of a coil restraint. The system also includes a passage disposed between the coil contacting base and the side wall. The coil restraint is configured to be disposed in the passage.

Side guide, side guide group, cargo deck, aircraft

A side guide for guiding and/or holding cargo items, in particular containers and/or pallets, in an aircraft, comprising a fastening rail extending in the longitudinal direction (v), at least one side guide device, which can be fastened to the fastening rail in the longitudinal direction (v) at different positions (A, B, C, D) and at least one first and at least one second fastening device for fastening the side guide to a cargo deck of the aircraft, in particular in a perforated rail. The first fastening device engages around the fastening rail and/or engages in the fastening rail in such a way that the first fastening device can be displaced in the longitudinal direction (v), in particular relative to the second fastening device.
