Gas supply refueling facility
12122662 · 2024-10-22 · ·

A gas supply marine vessel and a refueling facility are described. The gas supply marine vessel includes a hull with an upper deck having an elongated cargo cavity formed therein. Gas interface modules are disposed in the cavity and extend between hull sides, each module having a plurality of fuel vessel docking stations. A plurality of stacked fuel container assemblies are fluidically coupled to the docking stations. A gantry, is movable along the length of the cavity, straddles the cargo cavity between hull sides. An articulating crane is mounted on the gantry and it utilized to move fuel container assemblies to a fuel container depression formed in the deck of a floating refueling facility. The floating refueling facility includes a concave side to facilitate mooring adjacent a shoreline, the concave side forming angled extensions at corners of the deck with a linkspan extending from each of the angled extensions.

Marine cargo loader and handrail apparatus

A marine cargo loader and handrail device includes a base plate, a post and a platform that is pivotally mounted to the post to allow the platform to move upward and downward. The platform can have two positions, the stored and deployed positions. When stored, the platform is in an upright position. When deployed, the platform is in a substantially horizontal plane with respect to the post. The device may also include a gas dampener to allow for a smooth descent from the stored position downward to the deployed position.

DOCK HANDRAIL AND GATE APPARATUS

A dock handrail gate includes a base plate installable on the surface of the dock and a post mounted to the base plate perpendicular to the base plate. The handrail also has a rail that attaches to the top portion of the post and extends horizontally and inclines downwardly at an angle inwardly towards the post and further attaches to the bottom portion of the post. The handrail may also have an inner tube that includes an inner sleeve to allow the post and the rail to be lifted and rotated to lock into one or more positions.

Skidding system for an offshore installation or vessel

The invention relates to a skidding system for an offshore installation or vessel, such as an offshore wind turbine installation ship, comprising at least one set of rails, and one or more carriages for supporting loads and moving the loads along the rails, e.g. from a storage position to an operating position and/or vice versa. At least one of the carriages is adaptable to different loads.

Subsea container transport system for deep-sea mining

A mining system includes: a vessel for processing mined ore, an upper platform coupled with the vessel, a lower platform supported by the ocean floor, a number of transport cables which extend between the upper and lower platform, and a container for containing ore which container is fixedly coupled to a container transporting cable such that the container moves vertically with the container transporting cable to transport the container in a container trajectory extending between the upper and lower platform.

Method and apparatus for unloading cargo in an offshore marine environment

An elevation system includes deck units each including a frame, a movable deck coupled to the frame to be movable in a vertical direction, a sliding unit coupled to the frame to be movable in a horizontal direction, and elevation wires connected to the movable deck and the sliding unit via a direction changing sheave at the frame, a first sheave at each of the deck units and fixed to the frame, a second sheave at each of the deck units and coupled to the sliding unit to adjust a distance between the first sheave and the second sheave, a drive wire extending through the deck units and simultaneously wound around the first sheave and the second sheave of each of the deck units to deliver a driving force to the sliding unit, and a driver pulling the drive wire to cause the sliding unit to be slidably moved.

Transportation device and transportation system using same

Provided are a transportation device for transporting heavy plate-shaped cargoes such as thick plate products, and a transportation system using the transportation device. The transportation device may include: a device body unit; a device moving unit provided on the device body unit to move the transportation device; and a cargo loading unit provided on the device body unit for self-loading cargo. The transportation device is capable of rapidly loading and transporting plate-shaped heavy objects such as thick plate products of an iron mill without using additional lifting/unloading apparatuses and heavy pallets (cassettes) for markedly decreasing the total transportation (distribution) time necessary for lifting, transportation, and unloading of cargo, providing efficient transportation environments, improving productivity, and decreasing costs.
