Sliding Rod Holder Assembly
20190246794 · 2019-08-15 · ·

A fishing rod holder assembly is provided in a cabin of a boat. A rod holder locking member is mounted on a shelf in the cabin and is movable between an outboard position in the cabin and a position in the direction of the interior of the cabin. The locking member includes two plates hinged to each other to open and close, and having at least one cutout to receive and hold a rod handle therein. A rod tip holder is provided spaced from the rod holder locking member to support the tip of a fishing rod held within the assembly.

NOISE-ABSORBENT AND ODOR-ADSORBENT FABRIC COVER SYSTEMS FOR VEHICLE INTERIORS
20190244597 · 2019-08-08 ·

The present disclosure provides cover systems for covering components of a cabin interior of a vehicle, such as an automobile, a train car, a bus, a boat, or an aircraft, among others. For instance, the cover systems may cover one or more of a seat and a floor, among others, of the cabin interior. The fabric cover systems may absorb or partially absorb one or more of low-frequency sounds, such as low-frequency noise emitted by an engine, and high-frequency sounds, among others. The fabric cover systems may absorb or partially absorb odor molecules. The fabric covering systems may include multiple layers. For instance, one of the layers may include activated carbon fibers. The activated carbon fibers may absorb or partially absorb one or more of sounds, liquids, and odors, among others.

Disclosed herein is a marine vessel, which in one example comprises a substantially continuous deck. Also disclosed is an example with a plurality of parallel longitudinally aligned channels extending from the forward deck to the aft deck. The vessel having a vessel cabin resting on and longitudinally movable upon the deck. The vessel cabin in one example having a plurality of rolling wheels attached thereto; wherein the rolling wheels roll upon the deck and allow longitudinal movement of the vessel cabin between the aft region and the forward region. A drive unit (motor) may be provided. The drive unit optionally mounted to the cabin and in one example having a drive wheel mounted to the drive unit and configured to rotate the drive wheel. The drive wheel(s) contacting the deck such that rotation of the drive wheel repositions the cabin between the aft region and the forward region.

Extendable multihull boat

A lower deck for a watercraft is attached to and supported by an amidships hull, and an actuator slides the lower deck and amidships hull between a stowed position and an extended position on rails that are secured to the underside frame of the upper deck that is supported by abeam hulls. When fully extended, the lower deck remains attached to the watercraft while a portion of the lower deck's aft section remains beneath the upper deck. A hold within the amidships hull can store accessories used with the watercraft, such as live wells, tables, seats, a foldable slide and ladder assembly, and other items which can be accessed and deployed when the lower deck is extended. The holds are covered by panels which may be individual separable panels, a foldable set of connected panels, or laterally expandable panels. The lower deck can have foldable handrails and recessed cup holders.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING HABITABLE INSTALLATIONS FOR FLOATING STRUCTURES
20190144081 · 2019-05-16 ·

The invention relates to a method for constructing habitable installations for floating structures, comprising the following steps: lowering a first adapted standard container (3) through at least one vertical prismatic cavity (25) of a carrying structure (2) until it is supported on support brackets (4) of the floor below; securing the first container (3) to said support brackets (4) of the floor below; and, for each subsequent floor, securing a number of subsequent support brackets (4) to the carrying structure (2) on each container (3) already in position; lowering a subsequent container (3) until it is supported on said subsequent support brackets (4); and securing said subsequent container (3) to subsequent support brackets (4) on which it is resting. The invention also includes a habitable installation (1) constructed according to said method, and a container (3) adapted for carrying out said method.

JET BOAT

Floating Community
20190106182 · 2019-04-11 ·

A sustainable floating community based on a mass-produced modular, pre-fabricated kit of parts referred to as floating modular units. The floating modular units are designed to allow for various needs while remaining simple to deliver and assemble by hand in remote destinations prone to volatile shifts in water levels and currents. The floating modular units are ready to assemble, can be erected for use on land and bodies of water, are easily collapsible for transport, thereby serving as highly adaptable transportable structures.

Watercraft swim platform with deployable steps

Boats can include a swim platform with an integrated system of steps that can be selectively deployed and retracted. Such platforms can be attached to a transom of a boat or can be fabricated as an extended portion of the boat's hull. In another embodiment, deployable steps can be integrated with a boat's hull as a side-entry door. In order to reconfigure the step system into a deployed configuration, a linkage is actuated that causes the step system to unfold, forming steps (or a seating configuration) at least partially below the water line. Since the steps can be deployed below the water line, a swimmer can more easily get on board the boat.
