Oar assembly for a paddleboard
An oar assembly for a paddleboard is disclosed herein. The oar assembly according to one embodiment, allows the user to propel in a forward as well as a reverse direction. The oar assembly comprises a shaft having a top end and a bottom end. A first geared coupler having a first toothed surface extends from the bottom end of the shaft. A second geared coupler having a second toothed surface is configured to couple to the first geared coupler. An oar blade extends from the second geared coupler. A pair of brackets is configured for assembly on the shaft, the first geared coupler, and the second geared coupler. According to one aspect, a meshing of the first toothed surface with the second toothed surface facilitates hingeable movement between the first geared coupler and the second geared coupler, and thereby between the shaft and the oar blade.
Power surfboard
A power surfboard includes a surfboard body defining a first side, a supporting piece including at least one first fastener, and a power assembly. An accommodating groove is defined on the first side of the surfboard body. The supporting piece is arranged in the accommodating groove. The power assembly includes a power housing, an operating assembly, and a power source. The operating assembly includes an operating body, at least one second fastener connected to inner side walls of the operating body, and at least one operating piece arranged on the operating body. The power assembly is detachably arranged in the accommodating groove. When each operating piece is in a first state, each second fastener is connected to a corresponding first fastener. When each operating piece is in a second state, each second fastener is separated from the corresponding first fastener.
Surfboard with Removable Wheels
A wheeled system for engagement with a surfboard is provided. Wheeled trucks are configured for removable engagement with a lower surface of a surfboard using mounting plates or recessed connections. The removable engagement of the trucks allow a rider to ride on support surfaces such as the sidewalk, and to remove the trucks to employ the surfboard in the water. The removable trucks may be retrofitted to existing surfboards with an elastic or mechanical engagement, or may be provided in combination with a surfboard.
Tow pylon assembly for a watercraft
A tow pylon assembly for a watercraft has a pylon, a base connected to a lower portion of the pylon, the base being configured for connecting the tow pylon assembly to the watercraft, a bollard connected to an upper portion of the pylon, the bollard being configured for attaching a tow rope to the tow pylon assembly, and an equipment holding assembly connected to the pylon. The equipment holding assembly has a resilient member connected to the pylon. The resilient member is configured for holding equipment between the resilient member and the pylon. A personal watercraft having a rear platform and the tow pylon assembly connected to the rear platform is also disclosed.
Light Up Surfboard
A wirelessly rechargeable light up LED battery operated configuration which is assembled into a base, being a surfboard or water apparatus, and being covered by waterproof materials, to create waterproof ability, and thus to be charged wirelessly.
Slidable surfboard fin
A sliding fin for a surfboard includes a base having a planar tab with an upper flange, a large fin piece having a first indentation, and a small fin piece for mating face-to-face with the large fin piece. The second fin piece has a second indentation that forms a channel that has a cross-sectional shape corresponding to a cross-sectional shape of the planar tab and upper flange, the channel being longer than the width of the planar tab, the small fin piece being translucent to enable the planar tab in the channel to be seen, the large and small fin pieces being slidable relative to the base on the planar tab.
Motorized watercraft system with interchangeable motor module
A personal watercraft body comprises a recess configured to receive similarly shaped cassettes. A first cassette may be motorized to propel the body relative to a body of water. A second cassette may be non-motorized and may include a storage space therein for storing personal items. An insert may be disposed between the cassettes and the recess to orient and fit the cassettes within the body.
BOARD-ATTACHABLE ACCESSORY BASE LOCK
A board-attachable accessory base lock has an accessory base lock-on that can removably attach to a paddleboard or similar craft. Once the base lock-on is attached, a storage repository can be removably attached to the base lock-on. The storage repository can comprise a cooler, waterproof box, a compartmented fishing box, a crate, a minnow bucket, a fishing live well, a seat, etc. The storage repository can have no top, a hingeably attached top, a removable top, a locking top, etc. The base lock-on can attach to the board via first and second lockdown bars. These bars are designed to fit universally into the hand slot that is commonly found on boards. Once the lockdown bars are situated in the hand slot, the user simply actuates the lockdown handle to secure the lockdown bars in place. Accessory bolts provide attachment of the various storage repositories to the accessory base lock-on.
Stringerless surfboard with channels
A lightweight surfboard that is rigid yet provides uniform flex characteristic without the use of a traditional wooden stringer includes a stringerless blank foam and a set of channels shaped into a top portion of the body of the surfboard. The set of channels comprises a pair of adjacent, axially extending elongated concave grooves that run along the length of the set of channels, meet at their end points and form a convex center section. The convex center section of the set of channels provides the support to prevent the board from breaking due to the bending of the surfboard while being ridden on the wave. A laminating layer may be glassed on the set of channels for additional strength. The laminating layer may include fiberglass cloth, Kevlar, carbon fiber or any suitable material.
Board
A surfboard core and a stringer array embedded in the core to modify handling characteristics of the board.
