Kiteboard
A kiteboard includes a base, a front extension and/or a back extension. The base includes a top face and a bottom face and an outer edge face. The outer edge face is extending in a circumferential direction along an outer contour of the top face and the bottom face and includes a first mechanical interface. The front extension and/or the back extension include a top face and a bottom face and an inner edge face. The inner edge face extends between the top face and the bottom face along an inner contour and corresponds at least partially to the outer contour of the base. The inner edge face further includes a second mechanical interface, such that in an assembled position the first and the second mechanical inter-face are engaged with each other to position the front extension and/or the back extension with respect to the base.
TRANSPORTABLE WATERBOARDS, AND ASSOCIATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A waterboard assembly (such as a surfboard assembly) may include a first body portion, a second body portion, and a joining mechanism positioned to releasably attach the first body portion to the second body portion. In some embodiments, the joining mechanism may include a first interlocking portion and a second interlocking portion. The first interlocking portion may be attached to, integral with, or part of, the first body portion. The second interlocking portion may be attached to, integral with, or part of, the second body portion. The first interlocking portion may releasably interlock with the second interlocking portion. In some embodiments, the joining mechanism may include one or more fasteners for holding the interlocking portions together.

Set of coupling assemblies for a board for board sports
The present invention relates to a set of coupling assemblies comprising a right coupling assembly and a left coupling assembly being configured to be mounted on aboard for board sports and to receive respectively a right boot and a left boot, wherein the right and left coupling assembly comprise an inner receiving unit and outer receiving unit, wherein each inner receiving unit comprises a locking arm which is pivotable about a main inner pivot axis from a locked position to a released position and vice versa, wherein each inner receiving unit comprises a pull mechanism comprising:—at least one elongate interlink member which extends between the two inner receiving units, and—a link pull member configured to engage the boot or the inner boot coupling part and to receive a pull force from the boot or boot coupling part when the boot or boot coupling part is no longer held by the coupling assembly and moves away from the coupling assembly, and to be pulled over a pull distance by said boot or by the boot coupling part, wherein the pull mechanism is configured to transfer the pull force and the pull distance to the at least one elongate interlink member, and to convert the pull distance in an interlink pull distance of the elongate interlink member, and wherein said interlink pull distance pivots the locking arm of the other coupling assembly from the locking position to the released position, thereby releasing the other boot.
Aquatic Invasive Species Control Apparatuses and Methods for Watercraft
Wakeboats that include an aquatic invasive species control apparatus are provided. These wakeboats can include: a wakeboat with a hull; at least one throughhull fitting in the hull of the wakeboat; an irradiation chamber in fluid communication with the at least one throughhull fitting, the irradiation chamber having a radiation source; and at least one water destination aboard the wakeboat. Methods for irradiating invasive aquatic species aboard a wakeboat are also provided. The methods can include: receiving water from outside the wakeboat hull; and irradiating water aboard the wakeboat prior to discharging the water.
SLIDING BOARD INCLUDING ON ITS VISIBLE FACE A DECORATED COMPOSITE MATERIAL AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
A method for decorating a sliding board including on its visible part, a composite material formed of a fibrous layer coated with hardenable resin, includes preparing a transfer film that includes a face covered with a pattern constituted of an arrangement of grains of at least one type of ink. The ink includes colourants and a crosslinked polymer. The method also includes positioning the face of the transfer film covered with the pattern on all or some of the external surface of the composite material, applying pressure and temperature conditions generating the softening or/then hardening of the resin to as to incrust the grains of the pattern in the superficial layer of the composite material while conserving the arrangement of the grains, and peeling the transfer film.
SWIVEL LOCK QUICK RELEASE DEVICE
The swivel lock quick release device is adapted to selectively attach a user to a sports equipment. The sports equipment may be watersports equipment, such as a surfboard, a kite surfing apparatus, a stand-up paddle board, sailing equipment, a wake board, etc., or land sports equipment, such as fishing, camping, climbing, animal collars or leashes, tactical rifle apparatus, and hunting equipment. The swivel lock quick release device having a pull release and a protrusion, the pull release and the protrusion being adapted to be selectively engaged in a locked position is provided. A slide handle, a portion of the pull release, is adapted to be selectively moved in a coaxial direction by the user to disengage the pull release and the protrusion. The pull release is also adapted to rotate around, or swivel, the protrusion.
Systems, devices, and/or methods for improving watercraft performance
Certain exemplary embodiments can provide a system comprising a plurality of discs coupleable to a first watercraft. Wherein, when the plurality of discs is coupled to the first watercraft, each of the plurality of discs deflects a flow of water along the first watercraft such that a partial hydrodynamic lift results as the first watercraft moves across a water surface compared to a second watercraft, the second watercraft not coupled to discs.

Paddle Board
A paddle board, comprising a paddle board body (10) comprising an upper surface (11) and a lower surface (11a), wherein the lower surface of the paddle board body is a surface which comes into contact with the water, the upper surface of the paddle board body comprises a first region (11) and a second region (12). In the direction from the upper surface to the lower surface, the second region is lower than the first region, wherein the first region can be for the user to stand and the second region can be for user to sit. By means of the paddle board, the user can paddle when standing on the paddle board, and can also paddle when sitting on the paddle board, such that the user experience is good.
