MULTIFUNCTIONAL STAND-UP PADDLEBOARD AND METHODS
20230339579 · 2023-10-26 ·

Disclosed herein is a multifunctional stand-up paddleboard (MFSUP) comprising a paddleboard, a paddle, and a drive unit. At the stem of the paddleboard is a docking port configured to receive the drive unit that propels the paddleboard. In some embodiments, the paddleboard comprises a rigid midsection, and an inflatable bow and stem. The inflatable portions are inflated during use and deflated then folded over the midsection during storage. A control paddle having control switches send command signals by Bluetooth to the drive unit to control the velocity of propellors. A battery bank is disposed on the midsection and provides power to the drive unit. A solar panel can be included on a superior surface of the paddleboard to supply power to the battery bank. The drive unit is removable from the docking port for propelling a human through a water body. Other features and methods are also disclosed.

Surf wake forming systems and methods with gyroscope force vector translation

A wakeboat has a hull, the hull forming a wake when moving forward in the water, with a left quiet region and a right quiet region in the wake. The hull may exhibit rotation around one or more of its roll, pitch, and yaw axes which affects the quiet regions in the wake. A gyroscope supported in the hull may be used to rotate the hull around one or more axes. Such rotation may be used to create a surf left and/or surf right configuration, and measured via one or more sensors. Other systems and methods are also provided.

A personal flotation system provides a horseshoe shaped float that is buoyant and can be used in a number or positions to float a person on the water and retain a beverage. The horseshoe shaped flotation device has a left and right armrest that extend out from an arced shaped closed end and dual cup holder, on the extended end of the armrest, has an cup cylinder to retain a beverage in the vertical orientation and an end cup holder to retain a beverage in an orthogonal orientation to the cup cylinder. The flotation device may have an extending strap that couples the left and right armrests together to secure the horseshoe shaped float around a person's torso.

Inflatable Stand Up Paddleboard with Thermally Insulated Compartment

An inflatable stand up paddleboard, combined with a thermally insulated compartment is disclosed herein. The compartment may be used for storage of food, drink, personal effects, and other items that may require storage in a temperature stabilized medium. As constructed, the compartment and storage of items therein does not diminish the functionality or versatility of the inflatable paddleboard.

Paddlecraft for divers

A paddlecraft with a recess in its deck for a hookah diving compressor is disclosed where a user can paddle to a dive site and dive there without removing the compressor from the recess. An interchangeable insert for the recess supports different shapes and sizes of compressors. For a water-cooled compressor, the recess admits water from beneath the paddlecraft, or part of the compressor protrudes through the recess into the water beneath. A lid for the recess with an attachable tube feeds air to the compressor. An airline connection point is integrated into the paddlecraft, readily allowing connection and removal of an airline, or two or more airlines via an adaptor. The paddlecraft can also house an air reserve tank, allowing the user to dive without removing it. If the paddlecraft is an SUP, part of the SUP deck preferably functions as an air reserve tank.

AFT-FACING TRANSOM SEATING FOR A BOAT

A boat includes one or more seats, which may be aft-facing. The seat includes a seat bottom, which may include an aft segment and a forward segment. The forward segment is inclined at a downward angle that extends in a direction from aft to fore such that an aft portion of the forward segment is higher than the forward portion of the forward segment. The seat also may include a leg rest. The leg rest may extend from the seat bottom and be supported at the upper portion of the leg rest with a gap between a lower end of the leg rest and a surface beneath the leg rest such that the leg rest is not supported by the surface underneath the leg rest.

Wake-Modifying Device for a Boat

A recreational sport boat includes a hull having starboard and port sides and a transom, a generally horizontal platform, and a pair of wake-modifying devices positioned aft of the transom. The generally horizontal platform extends aft of the transom and is configured to support a human weighing at least 100 lbs. on an upper surface thereof. The pair of wake-modifying devices are attached to the platform. One of the wake-modifying devices is positioned on a port side of the platform's centerline, and another of the wake-modifying devices is positioned on a starboard side of the platform's centerline. Each wake-modifying device is moveable between a non-deployed position and a deployed position in which the wake-modifying device is angled downwardly at an angle relative to the top surface of the generally horizontal platform.
