Wakeboat bilge measurement assemblies and methods
Wakeboat fluid housing compartment fluid level sensing assemblies are provided. The assemblies can include: a wakeboat having a hull; a fluid housing compartment associated with the hull; a nonconductive sensor chamber positioned within the fluid housing compartment of the hull; and at least a pair of conductive electrodes associated with the sensor chamber, at least one of the pair of conductive electrodes being positioned within the nonconductive sensor chamber and electrically isolated from fluid within the fluid housing compartment. Methods for sensing a fluid level within a fluid housing compartment aboard a wakeboat are also provided. The methods can include: maintaining fluid communication between the fluid level within the fluid housing compartment and a sensor chamber; and determining the electrical communication between at least a pair of electrodes operatively associated with the sensor chamber.

LATERAL DISPLACEMENT SURF SYSTEM
The present disclosure generally pertains to a lateral displacement surf system and methods of laterally displacing a watercraft to generate wake. The lateral displacement system includes at least one pair of foils configured to be extended from a hull on a first side of the watercraft at a level of approximately the waterline. Upon forward movement of the watercraft with extended foils, the watercraft is rotated about its vertical axis toward the first side and generates waves sufficient for the conduction watersport activities on a second side of the watercraft. In some instances, foils are built into the hull and extended from this position, while in other instances the foils are attached to the hull using attachment structures. Rotation of the foils about an axis of rotation approximately perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the watercraft alters the angle of attack of the foils relative to the waterline.

Apparatus for sensing movement of an object relative to a fluid
Disclosed is inter alia an apparatus (63) for sensing a movement of an object (10, 11) relative to a fluid (12, 13), e.g. for sensing relative movements of a surf board in water. A particular characteristic of the invention is that the housing (21) is mounted in fixed arrangement to a surface (20) of the object, the housing receiving a spring member (62) having a plurality of blades (25a, 25b, 25c, 25d), wherein each blade has an outer end (27) which is fixed to the housing, and an inner end (28) which is connecting to a center portion (65) of the spring, the plurality of blades defining a plane (73), wherein a plurality of strain gauges (26a, 26b, 26c, 26d) is positioned on the blades, and wherein a rigid pin (17) is mounted on the center portion of the spring member which is extending in a direction of a normal vector (74) of the plane and which is protruding from the surface (20) of the object and configured to dip into the fluid.
