One or more wedge-stopping means for fixing the movable rigid wedge in a position for forming the desired angle. The one or more movable rigid wedge(s) configured to transfer mechanical support to the backrest plate from a surface on which support plate is positioned when the rigid wedge is fixed in a desired position by the wedge-stopping means.

A saddle for an aquatic board is disclosed. The saddle is equipped with a strap or straps and/or edge wise clamps, or other suitably firm fastener, to engage and maintain position on the aquatic board positioned beneath the saddle. A user can then stand on the board and squeeze the saddle between their knees and ankles and maintain an enhanced balance on the board or, if fatigued, can sit or kneel alongside or on the saddle and paddle/ride from a seated or kneeling position. The saddle may be inflatable or solid and may include an inner void for storage for personal effects or equipment. The saddle may further include a speaker, cup holder, handles, or other optional features.

The invention involves a paddleboard kit for converting any water sports board such as a surfboard into a paddleboard. An oar support assembly, typically secures oars with pivotal paddles to the board; facilitating rowing exercises that may be practiced while kneeling or standing. During use, the pivotable paddles pivot in such a way that the blade portion holds a steady position in relation to a shaft portion on the power stroke, whilst being free to fold in the opposite sense on the idle stroke when each stroke is executed as a substantially axial thrust of the shaft. The oar support assembly secures the pair of oars and is itself secured to the board by way of board couplers adjustably coupled to a portion of a strap that tightens to snuggly wrap around the board.

A paddleboard paddle system is convertible from a single paddle to a double-paddle and has a paddle handle including a hand aperture and thumb aperture in the paddle portion. A paddleboard paddle has a first paddle portion and a second paddle portion that can be connected to form a double-paddle, or a paddle having a paddle portion on opposing end of the paddle arm. A paddle arm is the rod or extension from the paddle portion that is typically used to guide the paddle through the water. A user may use the single paddle while standing on the paddle board or may connect the second paddle portion to produce the double-paddle to use while sitting on the paddleboard or for use in a kayak. Also, a user may use a double-paddle while standing. The paddle handle may be gripped by the user to guide the opposing end through the water.

A paddleboard paddle system is convertible from a single paddle to a double-paddle and has a paddle handle including a hand aperture and thumb aperture in the paddle portion. A paddleboard paddle has a first paddle portion and a second paddle portion that can be connected to form a double-paddle, or a paddle having a paddle portion on opposing end of the paddle arm. A paddle arm is the rod or extension from the paddle portion that is typically used to guide the paddle through the water. A user may use the single paddle while standing on the paddle board or may connect the second paddle portion to produce the double-paddle to use while sitting on the paddleboard or for use in a kayak. Also, a user may use a double-paddle while standing. The paddle handle may be gripped by the user to guide the opposing end through the water.

Disclosed are devices for attaching a seat to a stand-up paddleboard. The devices generally have an open C-shape that is designed and configured to accommodate the side rail of a stand-up paddleboard while maintaining flush contact with at least a portion of the bottom of the stand-up paddleboard. The present disclosure also relates to a system for attaching a seat to a stand-up paddleboard. The system includes the above-described device and a mechanism for connecting the device to a seat disposed on the stand-up paddleboard. The mechanism for connecting the device to a seat can be, for example, a strap or a hook. The connecting device can be varied to accommodate the location on the seat to which the connecting device is attached.

A removable storage device adaptable for use in exercise, fishing, paddling, floating, anchoring and other operations pertaining to, but not limited to, recreational operation of watercraft. This storage device has a population of receptacles or storage areas in which a user may rapidly and securely store a variety of objects such as, for example only, paddles, snorkeling gear, valuable items, waterproof pouches and/or containers, lights, personal flotation devices, dog leashes, fishing poles, anchors, food and/or beverage containers, rope, flares and other desired items. This removable storage device may be constructed to allow secure fastening of the storage device to a wide variety of external surfaces such as, for example only paddle craft, docks, boats and other objects and surfaces desired by the operator. The storage device may be an inflatable device, a solid or semi-solid device, and/or a combination inflatable and solid or semi-solid device.

An apparatus and method for decreasing the difficulty of executing a pop-up maneuver on a water sport board, such as a surfboard, is disclosed. Said apparatus consists of either one or two devices attached to the surfboard at the location where a user places his hands to execute the pop-up maneuver. Said devices move the user's hands away from the deck of the surfboard, creating more space between the surfer and the board during the pop-up maneuver, facilitating the user to swing the user into position and execute the pop-up maneuver.
