Many different types of systems are utilized and tasks are performed in a marine environment. The present invention provides various configurations of castable devices that can be operated and/or controlled for such systems or tasks. One or more castable devices can be integrated with a transducer assembly, such as a phased array, that emits sonar beams and receives sonar returns from the underwater environment. Processing circuitry may receive the sonar returns, process the sonar returns, generate an image, and transmit the image to a display.

A tri-hull fishing kayak includes a platform, an elevated seat, a foot operated paddle, and a triple hull including two side pontoons and one forward central pontoon having a front portion and a rear portion. The front portion, extending centrally from the platform, provides enhanced longitudinal stability. The two side pontoons are of a width and separation to provide enhanced lateral stability. The tri-hull fishing kayak reduces the need to frequently re-position the kayak when there is wind and/or current, thereby minimizing interruptions to fishing. The elevated seat is ergonomic for long-term sitting, and is high enough above the water to facilitate effective pitching and casting underhand, and to permit a steeper viewing angle into the water, thereby making sight fishing easier. The foot-operated paddle can be used to precisely steer the kayak, and therefore frees up the user's hands for fishing. Further, the platform enables fishing while standing.

Various implementations described herein are directed to providing lighting in an underwater transducer mounted to a boat. The transducer assembly includes a housing. The housing includes a transducer. The housing includes one or more lighting devices. The housing also includes an element integrated with an outer edge of the housing in a waterproof configuration. The element allows light from the one or more lighting devices to emanate outward from the outer edge of the housing.

A powerboat comprising a hull, a plurality of dynamically adjustable hydrofoils positioned below the waterline towards the rear of the hull, and a control system, wherein the cross sectional area of the hull below the waterline decreases towards the rear of the hull, and the control system is configured to adjust the hydrofoils in operation of the powerboat to control the running trim of the powerboat. The powerboat can operate efficiently at over a wide range of Froude numbers, in particular both low (displacement mode) speeds and high (planing mode) speeds.

A collapsible folding boat that includes two or more hulls. The individual hulls can either be directly connected together or connected using one or more structural members. In addition, the multiple hull folding boat can make use of inflatable air chambers and/or rigid components as part of its final assembly. The multiple hulls of the multiple hull folding boat can also be separated for use as individual collapsible boats. The multiple hull folding boat can include one or more seats for use by persons in the boat, and these seats can be placed in a lateral or longitudinal arrangement. The multiple hull folding boat also includes a removable floor design to present a dry floor to the inside of the boat.

A fishing rod docking system including an elongated carrier member having a front end and a rear end, a rear rod holding member configured to be coupled to, and extend away from, a top surface of the carrier member proximate the rear end, and a front rod holding member configured to be coupled to, and extend away from, the top surface of the carrier member proximate the front end, wherein the rear and front rod holding members are each configured with a plurality of receiving slots such that each receiving slot provided on the rear rod holding member has a corresponding receiving slot provided on the front rod holding member, each pair of corresponding receiving slots configured to receive and hold a fishing rod extending therethrough.

A tipping bow has at least one articulated connection to a vessel behind and is connected to an anchoring. The tipping bow has a structural member attached to one or more attachment points at the bottom edge of the tipping bow. The anchoring is attached to an anchor attachment positioned behind and lower than the balance point of the tipping bow.

The invention is defined as a personal watercraft gunwale rod holder complete design, fastened to a personal watercraft gunwale port or starboard. It functions as a support for rod and reels or accessories and incorporates a structure that allows unobstructed access to rod and reels of the personal watercraft port or starboard. An incorporated locking mechanism functions as a positioning lock that also allows quick release by the user of the personal watercraft. This invention allows to lade different accessories such as rod and reels, gaff, net, flag, or other accessories. This invention is designed for all personal watercraft users, including those with mobility restrictions that have restricted access to the personal watercraft when obstructed by placement of items.

The present disclosure is directed to a transformer device that attaches to a paddle for fishing. The device may attach to a single or double ended paddle. In any embodiment, the device includes a reel mount that enables a fishing reel to be mounted to the shaft of a paddle. The device also includes a rod mount that removably attaches to a shaft of a paddle. In one embodiment, the reel mount and the rod mount are independently attachable and positionable along a paddle shaft. The rod mount can removably accept and secure a fishing rod including guides for fishing line. One or more rods can be interchangeably coupled to the rod mount. In another embodiment, the rod mount includes a catch for retaining a rod within a ferrule of the rod mount. The device is attachable to a typical paddle to permit fishing while a user propels a watercraft.

Implementations of an inflatable raft that has a figure-eight shape are provided. The figure-eight shape serves to stabilize the inflatable raft and allows it to be paddled and maneuvered by a single paddler. In some implementations, the inflatable raft comprises a figure-eight shaped buoyant member, the figure-eight shaped buoyant member defines a front lobe that is connected to a rear lobe by a narrow central section. The inflatable raft also comprises a floor that is connected to the underside of the figure-eight shaped buoyant member. In some implementations, the inflatable raft may further comprise a substantially rigid deck insert configured to rest on the floor and to interlock with the figure-eight shaped buoyant member of the inflatable raft. The deck insert is configured to provide a substantially stable platform for a person using the inflatable raft, and to increase buoyancy and the overall rigidity of the inflatable raft.
