Watercraft
The invention relates to a watercraft, particularly a kayak having a battery compartment and motor mount for mounting a motor thereto. The kayak can be propelled either by a motor mounted to the motor mount or by manual paddling by a user of the kayak. The kayak may additionally have a seat mounted onto a track to allow the user to adjust their position as needed in the kayak. The kayak is extra wide to provide stability, while chamfered side walls allow the user to paddle with comfort regardless of the extra width. The kayak may optionally have wheels mounted thereon to facilitate handling and transport by the user.
WATERCRAFT DRAG APPARATUS
A watercraft drag apparatus may extend into the water from either the port or the starboard side of a watercraft or a hull of the watercraft. The drag apparatus may cause an increase in drag on one side of the watercraft. The increase in drag may slow the watercraft to a slower speed than the watercraft can typically maintain under normal power. The increase in drag may also cause the watercraft to change heading, requiring a watercraft pilot to repeatedly correct the heading to maintain an intended course. The watercraft drag apparatus may be useful for fishing, such as when trolling.
MARINE VESSEL PROPULSION SYSTEM, COMMUNICATION TERMINAL, AND KEYCODE SERVER
A marine vessel propulsion system includes a propulsive force generator to generate a propulsive force, a drive source to drive the propulsive force generator, and a controller configured or programmed to control the drive source to perform marine vessel maneuvering-related functions including at least one limited function. The controller includes an interface, and is further configured or programmed to include a restriction unit to restrict a control operation for the limited function, and a restriction cancellation unit to cancel the restriction effected by the restriction unit to permit the control operation for the limited function if a predetermined keycode is inputted from the interface or is registered in the controller.
Human driven water propulsion device
A human driven water propulsion apparatus includes a propeller and a human powered drive coupled to the propeller for driving the propeller. The propeller and human powered drive are connected to and supported by a chassis. Foot pedals are slidably engaged with the helical drive shafts. The helical drive shafts are connected to the propeller through one-way clutches and a gear train such that the propeller is driven by the helical drive shafts when driven by the pedals. In a watercraft application, the chassis is rotatably mounted for rotation between a first position where the propeller is faced in a forward direction and a second position where the propeller is faced in a rearward direction. In a swimmer application, a seat is attached to the chassis by a seat post and straps secure the seat to a user.
UTILITY SLED
A utility sled is formed from a lightweight material and includes a handle flexibly attached to the front end thereof. The handle includes a hook that is seated within a small opening of the utility sled when not in use. A pair of retractable wheels is attached to an exterior of each sidewall of the utility sled. The sidewalls are biased outward when no load is present. When loaded, the sidewalls advantageously tend to straighten vertically. The formed bottom of the sled includes a plurality of ribs which both add strength to the sled as well as function as sled runners when the wheels are retracted. The ribs operate to reduce friction between the sled bottom and the underlying surface.
WATERCRAFT AND ASSOCIATED PEDAL DRIVE SYSTEM
A watercraft and associated pedal drive system are provided. The pedal drive system allows for unassisted manual pedaling to provide thrust to the watercraft. The pedal drive system also provides on demand pedal assistance of varying levels via an assist drive train having an electric motor to supplement the manual pedal force input provided by a user at the pedals of pedal drive system.
Shark repellent system
A system for repelling sharks is disclosed. Magnets are connected to a rod along its length. If necessary, the rod may be extended. Additionally, one or more flotation devices may be connected to the rod to manipulate or adjust the buoyancy of the system, depending on the user's objective(s). The rod is connected to a fishing line once a fish is hooked and is in close proximity to the boat or other structure from which the fisherman is fishing. The weight of the rod and magnets cause the rod to slide down to the end of the fishing line, where the rod will come in contact with the hooked mouth of the fish. As the fish struggles during the fight, the rod creates a protective magnetic field around the fish to deter sharks from engaging the fish.
Multi-functional aquatic vehicle and system thereof
A multi-functional aquatic vehicle comprises a main body. The main body comprises: a propulsion system, comprising at least one propeller for changing a motion attitude of the main body; a camera system, comprising at least one camera; a communication system, comprising a signal receiving module for receiving an external signal detected by the aquatic vehicle and a signal transmitting module for transmitting a signal to an external control system; and a control system, for controlling an operating state of the propulsion system, adjusting a capturing angle of the camera system and controlling internal and external communication of the communication system. A towing hook device comprises: a driving system, a connecting mechanism and a towing hook mechanism. The driving system drives the connecting mechanism to rotate such that the towing hook mechanism turns over or rotates to release a load.
Boat steering and propulsion system
Techniques are disclosed to enable a system for controlling the propulsion and steering of a boat by a boat operator. The boat has at least one propulsion and steering motor assembly connected to the boat with a propeller, and a propulsion motor. It also has left and right pivoting pedals to provide a signal that controls the angle of the propeller so that if the left pedal is pivoted in a first pivot direction by a first percentage and the right pedal is pivoted in a second pivot direction by a second percentage, the boat executes a turn, moves forward, or moves in reverse.
MULTI-PURPOSE COLLASPIBLE PERSONAL WATERCRAFT
A multi-purpose personal watercraft for deployment in different configurations as desired by a user. The multi-purpose personal watercraft comprises a base frame which forms a watercraft base which includes side extensions, an aft floor board, and a bow portion, as well as two opposing mirror image side floats with which the base frame is selectively integrated. When in place, the opposing side floats form the multi-purpose personal watercraft's U shaped hull and enable the selective attachment of a rudder assembly behind the multi-purpose personal watercraft's stern. With respect to propulsion, base frame is configured to enable the selective deployment of pedal propellers, a user's legs, or a trolling motor. A dual steering system enables the control of up to two discrete steering mechanisms from a single position on the watercraft.
