Vessel (52) for farming of marine organisms (60), said vessel (52) comprises several tanks (38) with sea water and the marine organisms (60) that shall be farmed, where said tanks (38) comprises a farming net cage (10) that holds the marine organisms (60) and where the tanks (38) are open to the surrounding sea water (62).

Method of using a shark repellent system

A rod for repelling sharks is disclosed. Magnets are connected to the rod along its length. If necessary, the rod may be extended. Additionally, one or more flotation devices may be connected to the rod to manipulate or adjust the buoyancy of the system, depending on the user's objective(s). The rod is connected to a fishing line once a fish is hooked and is in close proximity to the boat or other structure from which the fisherman is fishing. The weight of the rod and magnets cause the rod to slide down to the end of the fishing line, where the rod will come in contact with the hooked mouth of the fish. As the fish struggles during the fight, the rod creates a protective magnetic field around the fish to deter sharks from engaging the fish.

A watercraft includes at least one float, a first frame supported by the at least one float, and a main panel affixed across the first frame. The watercraft further includes a second frame affixed to the first frame rotatably about a first edge and a second panel affixed across the second frame. In an embodiment, the first edge includes a shared frame member belonging to both said the frame and the second frame. In an embodiment, the watercraft includes a third frame affixed to the first frame rotatably about a second edge distinct from the first edge and a third panel affixed across the third frame. In an embodiment, the watercraft includes a shade rotatably affixed to a shade support edge member of the second frame and a shade panel affixed across the shade frame. The shade frame includes a pair of shade frame edge members rotatably affixed to the shade support edge member of the second frame.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MONITORING THE STATUS OF A BOAT
20200407019 · 2020-12-31 ·

A status monitoring system and the devices used for the status monitoring system is disclosed. The status monitoring system includes a controller device, a plurality of rod monitoring devices, and a motor monitoring device which works together to provide a layered approach to securing the boat. The controller device is configured to communicate with a smart device via cellular network. The controller device triggers an alert once it detects unexpected events on the boat or receives intrusion notifications from other devices in the status monitoring system. Unexpected events can include the boat moving out of the geofence, boat vibration, and unexpected starting of the vehicle. A method for monitoring the status of the boat is also disclosed. The method can include receiving an activation signal, receiving a GPS signal, receiving vibration signals, energizing the siren and transmitting notification and boat location to the cloud when detecting at least one trigger.

Powerboat

A powerboat comprising a hull, a plurality of dynamically adjustable hydrofoils positioned below the waterline towards the rear of the hull, and a control system, wherein the cross sectional area of the hull below the waterline decreases towards the rear of the hull, and the control system is configured to adjust the hydrofoils in operation of the powerboat to control the running trim of the powerboat. The powerboat can operate efficiently at over a wide range of Froude numbers, in particular both low (displacement mode) speeds and high (planing mode) speeds.

Inflatable raft

Implementations of an inflatable raft that has a figure-eight shape are provided. The figure-eight shape serves to stabilize the inflatable raft and allows it to be paddled and maneuvered by a single paddler. An example inflatable raft may include a figure-eight shaped buoyant member comprised of a plurality of tube-sections. The plurality of tube-sections are connected together end-to-end to form a front lobe, a rear lobe, and a narrow central section, the narrow central section connects the front lobe to the rear lobe. The inflatable raft also includes a floor that is connected to the underside of the figure-eight shaped buoyant member. The plurality of tube sections that form the front lobe, the rear lobe, and the narrow central section are positioned to define a compartment of some depth between them, the floor acts as a bottom for the compartment.

Waterfowl Capturing Assembly and System

A waterfowl capturing assembly and system includes a bracket is removably attachable to a watercraft. A frame is attached to the bracket and extends forwardly therefrom. The frame includes a receiving space having a receiving opening directed forward of the base. A panel is positioned on the frame and forms a scoop extending across the receiving space. The panel is used to capture and hold waterfowl floating on a body of water such that the watercraft can be used to retrieve the waterfowl.

Boat Anchoring System
