A personal watercraft has laterally spaced foot channels, a passenger seat, an engine compartment, and a back end. A receiver is universally positioned within the foot channels adjacent to the back end. A support member with a cylindrical knuckle and a strap is positioned within the engine compartment below the passenger seat thereby positioning a secondary end of the strap exteriorly of the engine compartment adjacent to the receiver. An insulated container with a closed bottom and an open top is removably positioned within the receiver. A lid is operably coupled to the open top. The receiver has a primary arm with a primary suction cup and a secondary arm with a secondary suction cup. The primary and secondary suction cups are provided for parallel alignment and vertical engagement with an exterior surface of the engine compartment.

Propulsion apparatus for watercraft
11192620 · 2021-12-07 ·

A watercraft propulsion apparatus includes an eccentric crank assembly operatively connected to a pair of fins adapted to sweep back and forth in a generally transverse direction relative to a longitudinal axis of the watercraft. The fins may be rotatable about a longitudinal shaft fixedly secure to the bottom of the hull of the watercraft. A drive linkage assembly operatively connecting the eccentric crank assembly to the pair of fins imparts a torque force to oscillate the pair of fins. The oscillating fins provide a propulsive force to propel the watercraft longitudinally forward during both oscillating directions of the fins as they sweep back and forth.

The invention relates to a watercraft, particularly a kayak having a battery compartment and motor mount for mounting a motor thereto. The kayak can be propelled either by a motor mounted to the motor mount or by manual paddling by a user of the kayak. The kayak may additionally have a seat mounted onto a track to allow the user to adjust their position as needed in the kayak. The kayak is extra wide to provide stability, while chamfered side walls allow the user to paddle with comfort regardless of the extra width. The kayak may optionally have wheels mounted thereon to facilitate handling and transport by the user.

Pull-Behind Watercraft Accessory Device with Stabilizer Fin
20220177083 · 2022-06-09 ·

This present invention relates to a stabilizer fin which is designed to act as a rudder system for a towable floatation device. The stabilizer fin can be mounted to any conventional pull behind floatable device to keep the device tracking straighter as it is pulled through the water. The stabilizer fin assembly comprises a mounting plate that is moulded to fit to the shape of the rear of the floatable device, and a fin designed to be attached to the mounting plate. The fin pivots freely between vertical up and down positions. The fin is counterweighted in order for the fin to fall freely into the lowered or down position while in the water. The stabilizer fin ensures that the floatable device does not create unnecessary drag and eases the paddling process for a watercraft operator towing the floatable device.

The clamping device may comprise a platform base, a pair of locking claws, and a mount. The clamping device may be coupled to a base object via the mount. The clamping device may retain a clamped object to the base object using the pair of locking claws. An individual locking claw selected from the pair of locking claws may comprise an over-center linkage resulting in bistable positioning of the individual locking claw. The individual locking claw may transition from an open position to a closed position under the influence of a closing force. The individual locking claw may transition from the closed position to the open position under the influence of an opening force. As a non-limiting example, the clamping device may retain a paddle to a boat by clamping onto a shaft of the paddle.
