Yacht preserver
A nonlimiting example of a yacht preserver includes a handle, a container at an end of the handle, and an inflator device connected to an inflatable bladder. In this nonlimiting example, the inflator device includes a gas canister that is configured to deliver gas to inflate the bladder upon activation. The yacht preserver may be used to seal an opening of a yacht by placing the uninflated bladder near the opening in the yacht and activating the inflator device allowing the bladder to expand to seal the opening.
Device for Monitoring a Boat Drive
A device for monitoring a boat drive, preferably for monitoring a drive battery of a boat drive, includes a first water sensor configured to switch off the boat drive when a first water level is reached, and a second water sensor configured so as to output a water level warning when a second water level is reached.
YACHT PRESERVER AND METHOD OF THE USING THE YACHT PRESERVER TO REDUCE WATER FLOW INTO A YACHT
A device and method for sealing a hole in a yacht below a water line by inserting an inflatable bladder into the hole using a push rod and inflating the inflatable bladder to reduce water flow through the hole.
Apparatus and method for inspecting flooded cavities in a floating offshore installation
A threaded connection body is welded to the wall of a pipe, seachest or other flooded cavity within the hull of a ship or floating offshore installation. A sealed cutting apparatus is mounted via a valve unit n the connection body and a cutter extended through the open valve to form an opening in the wall. After retracting the cutter and closing the valve, the cutting apparatus is replaced by an inspection unit having a camera which is extended through the valve and the opening to inspect the cavity. After retracting the camera and closing the valve, the inspection unit is replaced by a plug deployment unit which advances a plug through the valve and screws it into the connection body. The valve unit can then be removed and replaced with a cap so that the plug and the cap provide a double seal to the connection body.

Ship Equipped with Additional Propeller
A ship is configured to obtain propelling force by driving a designed propeller with a main engine. A vertical tunnel is formed at a bow portion to pass through a ship bottom. A lateral tunnel is formed in communication with the vertical tunnel. An additional propeller device has an additional propeller and a driving unit for the propeller. The additional propeller device is configured such that the additional propeller can turn around a vertical center line of the vertical tunnel. The additional propeller is configured to be capable of vertically movable from below the ship bottom to a height position of the lateral tunnel. When the additional propeller is at the height position of the lateral tunnel, the additional propeller is configured to follow the lateral tunnel.
SAFETY SYSTEM, LAND SYSTEM, ON-SHIP SYSTEM, AND CONTROL METHOD
A safety system according to the present invention includes an on-ship system which is provided on a ship and a land system which is provided on land. The on-ship system and the land system each obtain, from a safety detection device and a safety maintenance device which are provided on a ship, data which has been detected by the safety detection device and a signal which indicates a state of the safety maintenance device, and, on the basis of the obtained data and signal, transmit to the safety maintenance device a control signal for controlling the safety maintenance device.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR INSPECTING FLOODED CAVITIES IN A FLOATING OFFSHORE INSTALLATION
A threaded connection body (20) is welded to the outer surface of the wall (10) of a pipe, seachest or other flooded cavity (4) within the hull of a ship or floating off-shore installation. A sealed cutting apparatus (50) is mounted via a valve unit (30) on the connection body and a cutter extended through the open valve (34) to form an opening (18) in the wall (10). After retracting the cutter and closing the valve (34), the cutting apparatus is replaced by a sealed inspection unit (70) having a camera (71) which is extended through the valve and the opening to inspect the cavity (4). After retracting the camera and closing the valve, the inspection unit is replaced by a plug deployment unit (100) which is used to advance a plug (120) through the open valve and screw it into the connection body (20). The valve unit (30) can then be removed and replaced with a cap (90) so that the plug and the cap provide a double seal to the connection body.
VEHICLE EQUIPPED WITH A DEVICE FOR ASSISTANCE IN EMERGENCY EVACUATION, LIQUID RETENTION DEVICE EQUIPPED WITH SUCH A DEVICE FOR ASSISTANCE IN EVACUATION, AND DEVICE FOR ASSISTANCE IN EMERGENCY EVACUATION
A vehicle comprising an inner wall (5), an evacuation exit of the vehicle, and a device (1) for assisting the emergency evacuation of the vehicle secured to said wall (5) by means of a fastening means (3, 4), said device (1) comprising a case (2) with a main body (20) delimiting an inner volume (V), and also a cover (7) connected to the main body (20) by a permanent connection means (8), said main body (20), fastening member (3, 4), cover (7) and permanent connection means (8) being shaped and dimensioned such that the cover (7) contributes to forming, in the open position, a bearing area and/or a grip allowing a person to hoist themselves towards the evacuation exit.
Marine vessel maneuvering system and marine vessel
A marine vessel maneuvering system includes a controller configured or programmed to perform a water entry determination control to determine whether or not water behind a hull that rises above a water surface due to deceleration of the hull may enter the hull when the hull is decelerating.
