A remote controlled lighted mooring beacon is adapted to be secured to a mooring site. The beacon may include various features, such as a central shaft, a ballast at the base of the shaft containing at least one power source, a float, an electronics package having a receiver that responds to a wireless code for generating an activation signal, and a 360 degree viewable high intensity light source.

ARC LIGHT
20180038571 · 2018-02-08 ·

An arched light source for illuminating an area comprising a base and an arched support extending from the base. The arched support has an upper edge corresponding to an arc having a center below the base and a lower edge meeting the base corresponding to a chord of the arc. The arched support includes a groove along the upper edge of the arched support. The arched slight support includes a light source disposed in the groove and a transparent lens extending the length of the groove and sealing the light source within the groove. The light source may be a plurality of discrete LEDs spaced a distance apart, the plurality of LEDS extending substantially the entire length of the groove. The color emitted by the light source may be controllable by the user. The arched support may be opaque. The base may be mountable to a marine vessel.

MICRO-ADJUSTMENT DEVICE FOR LIGHTING MODULES

A device for micro-adjustment of a lighting module has a first end including a thread to be driven into a surface of the lighting module. A second end of the device includes a micro-adjustment thread for attachment of a nut. A flange is positioned between the thread of the first end and the micro-adjustment adjustment thread of the second end. The device also includes a driving feature positioned between the flange and the micro-adjustment adjustment thread. The driving feature has an outer diameter that is smaller than an outer diameter of the flange.

Light altering bumper device

The present invention is an integrally formed, light altering bumper designed to amplify amounts of visible light from a self-contained, integrated light source. The present invention is generally an illuminating dock bumper for attachment to either a dock or a dock vehicle made from a spine member; a lobe member; and a protective housing located within the recessed portion of the spine member for receiving an elongate light source therewithin, the light from the light source to illuminate the bumper in turn. The protective housing has a linear concave light refractor disposed thereon, the linear concave light refractor being a centrally-disposed, uniform, elongate concave depression extending along the length of the protective housing.

Illumination System for a Kiteboarding Kite
20170174361 · 2017-06-22 ·

An illumination system for a kiteboarding kite that senses the position and orientation of the kite with respect to a rider and directs a beam of light at the rider's path. The illumination system is battery powered and mounted to a kiteboarding kite with an inflated leading edge. A processor executed program analyzes data from several sensors, such as accelerometers, gyroscopes and magnetometers, in order to quickly adjust the direction of a spotlight and avoid shining light into the rider's eyes. In addition, the illumination system may also illuminate the rider directly or areas of the kite.
