HYBRID FIXED/FLOATING MARINE STRUCTURES
20170334530 · 2017-11-23 · ·

A marine structure including a floating deck attached to a damper configured to control the vertical movement of the deck. The damper allows vertical motion of the floating deck in response to gradual changes in water level such as tidal changes, but resists bouncing of the deck in response to shorter term fluctuations in water level such as boat wakes or wind chop.

Small Watercraft Launching Device
20170274968 · 2017-09-28 ·

A lifting device for lifting and holding a small watercraft in a fixed position and that includes a support structure and a lifting mechanism. The support structure supports the lifting mechanism in a body of water, usually with some form of flotation device. The lifting mechanism is movable between a raised position that holds the watercraft steady and in a fixed position and a lowered position in which the watercraft is floating in the water. A handle bar assembly allows a user to maneuver the lifting mechanism between the positions.

Combination Float and Bracket Assembly
20220048602 · 2022-02-17 ·

A combination float and bracket assembly for a floating structure that includes a float body made of foam with a plurality of transversely aligned L-shaped brackets that extend upward from the float body's top surface. Each bracket includes a horizontal flange and a vertical flange and the foam body is made of closed-cell foam. During manufacturing, a plurality of bracket cutouts is formed in the top surface of the float body. A brackets is then inserted into each bracket cutout. The bracket's vertical flanges extends upward above the top surface. Connectors are used to attach the vertical flanges to a frame member. In one embodiment, a transversely aligned frame member void area is formed in the float body adjacent to the vertical flange. The void area receives the frame member that extends over the top surface of the float body and attaches to the vertical flange. Also disclosed is a floating structure that includes a frame attached to a plurality of float and bracket assemblies.

Releasable floating dock hinging latch
09732788 · 2017-08-15 ·

A floating dock hinging latch releasably interconnects a pair of floating dock sections in an adjoined spaced relation for relative hinging motion. The floating dock hinging latch includes a pair of female latch portions secured to the side of one floating dock section and a pair of male latch portions secured to the side of the other floating dock section. The female latch portions and male latch portions are releasably engaged with one another to hingedly connect the floating dock sections by moving the floating dock sections toward one another across the surface of the water.
