Inflatable Outdrive Saver Tool
20170253309 · 2017-09-07 ·

A portable, inflatable, waterproof tool to lift installed marine outdrives from incompatible immersion when not in operation. The deflated tool designed and constructed to be compatible with the craft's hull shape and positioned with the backing fabric against the hull is slipped under the craft's hull cross section adjacent to the outdrive and secured by two D-Rings that provide purchase capability. Inflation is provided by a pressurization device. Inflation is applied until the desired lift is achieved. Deflation is achieved by venting the fill valve and pulling the deflated tool to the desired side of the craft. The deflated tool is stored in the storage container.

FLOATING BOAT LIFTING APPARATUS FOR RAISING OR LOWERING THE BOAT FROM OR ONTO THE WATER
20170197694 · 2017-07-13 ·

The present invention relates to a boat lift device for lifting a ship, such as a motorboat, a utility boat, a prefabricated rubber boat, a shipping boat, a cruise yacht, or a dinghy yacht, above the surface or for floating the same on the surface and, more particularly, to a boat lift device operated by a hydraulic cylinder, air, water pressure, a worm gear, or a rotor. A device for floating a ship or lifting an immersed boat according to the present invention is configured such that, when the ship is fully lifted above the surface, the lower portion of a lifting assembly is not immersed below the surface, and load transfer portions of buoyancy tanks are not abraded, thereby ensuring excellent durability and natural, smooth operation of the buoyancy tanks. In addition, the device for floating a ship or lifting an immersed boat according to the present invention has a reduced radius of rotation of the buoyancy tanks, or the lifting assembly ascends/descends vertically in an elevator type while the buoyancy tanks are floating on water, thereby improving the space usability of the place at which the boat lift device is installed, and making the locking means and the lifting assembly simple. Furthermore, the device for floating a ship or lifting an immersed boat according to the present invention guarantees that, even when a ship is lifted or lowered on a predetermined rock face or at a fixed marina mooring facility, the interval between the buoyancy tanks does not increase at all, thereby substantially improving space usability.

HOME STRUCTURE WITH INTEGRATED BOAT SLIP AND LIFT
20170174297 · 2017-06-22 ·

A home structure can have an integrated nautical garage and boat slip. The boat slip can be defined entirely under the home such that the boat can be located entirely under the home within the residential setback envelope for the home. The nautical garage can include a lift mechanism for lifting the boat out of the water. The lift mechanism can have a no profile deck that aligns substantially flush with the floor of the nautical garage when the boat is fully raised. The nautical garage can have a roll down shutter and/or door that can be closed to close off an opening of the nautical garage (e.g., once the boat has been navigated into the nautical garage). The boat slip can optionally be defined by a U-shaped culvert.

WATERCRAFT LIFT AND AUTOMATIC WATERCRAFT COVER

A boat lift with hydraulically or mechanically actuated arms which self-installs a fitted three-dimensional boat cover on a powerboat. The control logic of the system allows for cover operation only when the lift is raised. A spring-tensioned roller keeps the cover tight and self-rolls the cover on the roller when the actuated arms are pivoted forward. The roller is hidden behind the boat in cover-on position. A slip clutch prevents the torsion spring from being over tightened. The forward position of the roller is adjusted by adjusting the hydraulic cylinder length. The rearward position of the roller is adjusted by limiting the retracted position of the hydraulic cylinder. A non-hydraulic embodiment actuates the cover when the lift is operated.

HIGH SPEED HYDRAULIC WATERCRAFT LIFT

A high-speed watercraft lift for raising and lowering a watercraft relative to a body of water, the lift comprising a cradle configured to support the watercraft, a cable suspending the cradle, a rotatable spindle configured take up the cable, and a submergible rotary motor. The cradle comprises a number of interconnected beams and a number of bunks connected to at least some of the interconnected beams. The cable is liftably linked to at least one of the interconnected beams. The rotatable spindle is configured to coil portions of the cable to raise the cradle and uncoil the portions of the cable to lower the cradle. The submergible rotary motor is configured to rotate the spindle.

Boat Handling Apparatus
20170096202 · 2017-04-06 ·

A boat handling apparatus includes a carriage frame supported for rolling movement along a first horizontal track between a lifting position adjacent to a first end of the first track and a stored position adjacent to an opposing second end of the first track. A second upright track is fixed in proximity to the first end of the first track to depend downwardly from the first track. A cradle frame which is arranged to support a boat thereon is transferrable from a raised position supported on the carriage frame so as to be movable with the carriage frame between lifting and storage positions thereof, to a lowered position in which the cradle frame is movable up and down along the second track below the first horizontal track.
