LIFEBOAT
An unmanned lifeboat has a hull with a transom opening, a focsle closed by a rounded top deck, providing accommodation for survivors. The aft deck as such is generally U-shaped with a cut-out open at the transom, which is vestigial with two small port and starboard parts. Within the cut-out is a boarding assistance ramp. This is level with the aft deck at its forward end and slopes down to the transom. It extends aft of this by a few of feetsay about lmto enable survivors to swim and crawl onto it. For guidance to reach the vicinity of the survivors, the lifeboat is equipped with a communication apparatus including a receiver for receiving survivor location data. In addition, the navigation apparatus with which the lifeboat is equipped includes a GPS system, a compass.

Animal flotation device
An animal flotation device is provided. The animal flotation device is a non-inflatable, semi-submersible flotation apparatus for a dog to stably sit, lay and move about while partially submerged in a body of water of any depth. The animal flotation device may have a peripheral portion defining an interior portion. The interior portion provides a generally rigid area adapted to become semi-submersed within the body of water when supporting the dog, whereby the peripheral portion provides buoyancy and stability to the semi-submersed interior portion so that the dog may move around and feel safe while floating atop the body of water.
RESCUE DEVICE
Rescue device comprising a base; a plurality of protective panels, a plurality of protective panels and hand gripping elements. At least one protective panel has a shell shape with a main body, at least a top protrusion and side protrusions, such that a protective space is formed, the protective space being suitable for a person to be housed in, such that the main body and the at least one side protrusion are suitable for protecting the protective space from an impact coming from directions parallel to the base and comprised in a range wider than 200, and the top protrusion is suitable for protecting the protective space from an impact coming from a direction perpendicular to the base.

Collapsible flotation device
A collapsible flotation device is provided that uses a coilable spring coupled to a panel to collapse the device when the spring is coiled, and to expand the device when the spring is uncoiled configuration. The spring can be contained within a sleeve along the outer portion of the panel. A support member that traverses the panel is provided. An inflatable bladder disposed about a part of the outer portion of the panel and coupled to the support member buoyantly supports a body weight of a user. The combination of the inflatable bladder and the support member provide support for a user in a seated position on the panel. Many configurations are disclosed, including a multi-user collapsible flotation device, multiple connected single-user flotation devices, and so forth. A back support member and a headrest, both of which can be inflatable, provide additional support for a user to maintain a seated position on the panel. A foot support member is provided for the comfort of the user.
Systems and apparatus for removal of harmful algae blooms (HAB) and transparent exopolymer particles (TEP)
A mobile HEB and TEP mitigation device includes a mobile body capable of movement within or upon a body of water. Located within the mobile body is a hydrodynamic separation system which includes a water inlet, a hydrodynamic separation unit and a collection tank. The hydrodynamic separation unit includes two outputs, one for a clean stream output line containing clean water and arranged to re-circulate the clean water, and another for a concentrate stream output line, the concentrate stream output line configured to place concentrated water containing potentially harmful bio-organic materials into the collection tank. Also included on the mobile body is a power source and an engine/steering unit, wherein the steering portion of the engine/steering unit provides a capacity to move the mobile body in an intended direction. The mitigation device may also be used as an embedded part of an on-shore arrangement.
