MARINE VESSEL AND MARINE PROPULSION UNIT
A marine vessel includes a hull, a jet pump including an impeller, a plurality of motors, and a transmission to transmit outputs of the plurality of motors to the impeller of the jet pump.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING A WATERJET-DRIVEN MARINE VESSEL
A system for controlling a marine vessel having first and second steering nozzles and corresponding first and second reversing buckets, comprises a processor configured to receive a first vessel control signal including at least a component corresponding to a translational thrust command in a port direction, and that is configured to provide a set of actuator control signals coupled to and control the first and second reversing buckets. The processor is configured to provide the set of actuator control signals so as to maintain the first reversing bucket substantially in a first discrete position and the second reversing bucket substantially in a second discrete position as long as the first vessel control signal includes a component corresponding to a translational thrust command in the port direction.
THRUSTER ARRANGEMENT FOR A BOAT
A pontoon boat including a thruster system is disclosed.
Wind-Water Machine Set
A wind-water machine set is an evolving jet machine that moves the internal engine to the outside of the sleeve to work, instead of using a water jet as the main and air-jet as the auxiliary. When a ship uses multiple groups of wind-water machine set, there is a master control center for overall control and coordinated operation. Controlling the propulsion system makes the ship move forward and backward in an orderly manner. Control the surfing system to eliminate the bow water resistance and cooperate with the propulsion system. The steering control system is controlled to make the ship easy to operate the steering. Control the balance system to keep the ship balanced without swaying the roll angle. Control the draught system so that ships do not need ballast water. So that the ship can sail at super high speed, super fuel-efficient and safe.
Thruster arrangement for a boat
A pontoon boat including a thruster system is disclosed.
Boat comprising engines that have propellers each positioned in a duct, ensuring optimised operation during forward travel and high manoeuvrability
Disclosed is a boat with at least one combustion engine positioned on or symmetrical with the vertical median plane of the boat and two engines provided symmetrical with respect to the vertical median plane, each including a propeller in a duct with: a central section on which the propeller is positioned, a rear section leading via a rear opening onto the transom of the hull, a front section with a continuous curved profile, leading via a side opening to the outside wall of the hull, the side opening having a larger cross-section than the cross-section of the rear opening in order for the duct to include at least one converging nozzle, the front section being oriented so that the stream of water exiting from the side opening is directed towards the front and forms an angle of 20° to 60° with respect to the wall of the hull.
Integrated thruster and ballast system
An integrated thruster and ballast system in accordance with some examples herein may include a conduit disposed within a hull of the boat. The conduit includes a first opening in fluid communication with a body of water, a second opening in selective fluid communication with the body of water, and an outlet disposed within the boat. The integrated thruster and ballast system includes a ballast tank in selective fluid communication with the conduit via the outlet, a thruster disposed within the conduit and configured to move water through the conduit, a first valve disposed in the conduit and configured to selectively divide or establish the fluid communication between the conduit and the ballast tank; and a second valve disposed in the conduit and configured to selectively divide or establish the fluid communication between the second opening and the body of water.
A SURVIVAL CRAFT
A survival craft for maritime evacuation of passengers and crew members from a vessel or an offshore facility is disclosed. The survival craft has a hull, predominantly made of non-rigid inflatable tubes and one or more shells, the hull has a length, a width and a centerline, a bow and a stern. The survival craft further comprises a first pair of engine-powered propulsion means arranged at the stern on opposite sides of the centerline, and a second pair of engine-powered propulsion means arranged at the bow on opposite sides of the centerline, each engine-powered propulsion means has a propeller or a water jet, wherein a horizontal angle of each propeller or water jet of each engine-powered propulsion means can be independently set in relation to the centerline.
WATER PUMP FOR WATERCRAFT
A self-propelling watercraft system is provided. The watercraft has a base with a plurality of sidewalls extending from the base to form a cockpit. The base also has a recess, where a pump can detachably connect to the hull within the recess. The pump has an intake valve on a first end and a nozzle on a second end that is opposite the first end. The intake valve can intake water. The nozzle can jettison water received in the pump from the intake valve and agitate water surrounding the nozzle.
WATER SHOES FOR WALKING, FLOATING AND JET SKIING ON WATER
A wearable water shoe apparatus for walking, standing and jet siding on water, includes in each of a first water shoe and a second water shoe (i) a sleeve to receive a leg of a user and (ii) a bottom section, The sleeve has a platform for standing thereon. Each pair of a plurality of pairs of jet motors is configured to eject a jet stream of water. A stabilization unit, including a tilt sensor and a plurality of gyroscopes, is configured to detect a stabilization state of at least one of the first water shoe and second water shoe. A processing unit is configured to receive output from the stabilization unit, determine a direction of movement indicated by the user and direct at least one of the pairs of motors to eject a water stream out of at least one of the water shoes based on the indicated direction.
