REEFER POWER CONTROL
Disclosed is a power controller for controlling power to be supplied to at least one reefer container on a container vessel. The power controller is configured to obtain a set temperature for at least one reefer container to be transported by the container vessel. The power controller is also configured to obtain data that indicates an amount of energy available to the container vessel and determine, based on the amount of energy available to the container vessel, whether to cool the at least one reefer container below the set temperature.
MATCHING MESHES FOR VIRTUAL AVATARS
Examples of systems and methods for matching a base mesh to a target mesh for a virtual avatar or object are disclosed. The systems and methods may be configured to automatically match a base mesh of an animation rig to a target mesh, which may represent a particular pose of the virtual avatar or object. Base meshes may be obtained by manipulating an avatar or object into a particular pose, while target meshes may be obtain by scanning, photographing, or otherwise obtaining information about a person or object in the particular pose. The systems and methods may automatically match a base mesh to a target mesh using rigid transformations in regions of higher error and non-rigid deformations in regions of lower error.

SHIP COMPRISING A SYSTEM FOR REDUCING THE VIBRATIONS ORIGINATING FROM THE CASING AND METHOD FOR BUILDING SAID SHIP
The invention relates to a ship, comprising: at least one casing that delimits a cavity extending vertically across the ship's decks; at least one exhaust flue that is installed inside said casing and comprises a plurality of concentrated mass components and a plurality of components with mass distributed in length; a plurality of structures that support the plurality of said components inside the casing. Said support structures comprise: a plurality of main platforms, which define a main support base inside said cavity and is connected to walls of the casing at a ship deck by means of the interposition of main elastic suspensions; and a plurality of secondary platforms, which are directly or indirectly supported only by one of said main platforms and defines a secondary support base arranged at a different height with respect to the main support base that is defined by the corresponding main platform.
SYSTEM FOR CAPTURING CARBON DIOXIDE AND SULFUR OXIDES AND UTILIZING CARBON FOR SHIPS
Proposed is a system for capturing carbon dioxide and sulfur oxide for ships that can capture carbon dioxide in flue gas using a basic alkaline mixture and use the captured carbon dioxide to capture sulfur oxides in the flue gas. The carbon dioxide and sulfur oxide capture system for ships uses sodium carbonate or sodium hydrogen carbonate prepared from the captured carbon dioxide as a desulfurization agent to capture sulfur oxides in the flue gas discharged from ships, thereby simultaneously producing carbon dioxide and sulfur oxides in one system.

Location-based control of exhaust system for marine engines
A method of controlling an adjustable exhaust system for a marine engine includes receiving a vessel location of a marine vessel having an adjustable exhaust system and identifying a desired position of the bypass valve based on the vessel location and/or a current time. If the bypass valve is not in the desired position, an instruction is generated to adjust the bypass valve to the desired position to change a noise level generated by the adjustable exhaust system.
Ship comprising a system for reducing the vibrations originating from the casing and method for building said ship

CARBON DIOXIDE TRANSPORT AND SEQUESTRATION MARINE VESSEL
A marine vessel and method for carbon capture and sequestration are described. The marine vessel includes a buoyant hull, a cryogenic storage tank within the hull, and a gaseous carbon dioxide loading manifold. The marine vessel also includes a carbon dioxide liquefaction system in fluid communication with the cryogenic storage tank downstream of the carbon dioxide liquefaction system and with the gaseous carbon dioxide loading manifold upstream of the carbon dioxide liquefaction system. Finally, the marine vessel includes a carbon dioxide supercritical system in fluid communication with the cryogenic storage tank. In operation, the marine vessel moves between multiple locations, where gaseous carbon dioxide is onboarded, liquified and stored. Thereafter, the marine vessel transports the liquified carbon dioxide to a location adjacent an offshore geological reservoir. The liquefied carbon dioxide is then pressurized to produce supercritical carbon dioxide, which is then injected directly into the reservoir from the marine vessel.
