Boat with electric drive
A boat has a battery located within an interior of a battery-housing, which includes a waste gas outlet that has a gas-permeable seal and a pressure relief valve. The battery housing is gastight and watertight with the exception of the waste gas outlet. The gas-permeable seal is water-impermeable and comprises a semi-permeable diaphragm that allows the passage of water vapor out from the interior of the battery housing, but prevents the passage of water vapor into the interior of the battery housing.

ELECTRIC STERN DRIVES
A stern drive is for propelling a marine vessel in a body of water. The stern drive has a powerhead, a mounting assembly configured to affix the powerhead to the transom, inside the marine vessel, and a drive assembly coupled to the mounting assembly, the drive assembly being trimmable up and down relative to the mounting assembly, the drive assembly comprising a driveshaft and an output shaft which extends transversely to the driveshaft. The drive assembly has a driveshaft housing for the driveshaft and a gearcase housing for the output shaft, wherein the gearcase housing is steerable relative to the driveshaft housing. A universal joint couples the powerhead to the driveshaft so that operation of the powerhead causes rotation of the driveshaft, which in turn causes rotation of the output shaft.

Enclosure for a Gas Turbine Engine
An engine enclosure for containing a gas turbine engine is provided. An exemplary engine enclosure includes features that improve noise and thermal attenuation, reduce the weight of the enclosure, and provide for more accessible access points to the interior volume of the engine enclosure.
Electric drive and emergency stop switch for boats
A boat having an electric motor coupled with an electrical store is disclosed. The electrical store includes a storage element, and positive and negative poles in current-conducting connection with the storage element. An isolating circuit element is operatively connected to a user activatable emergency stop switch. The isolating circuit element is configured to, upon activation of the emergency stop switch, isolate the current-conducting connection between the storage element and at least one of the poles.

Cowlings for marine drive having a perimeter seal
A cowling is for a marine drive. The cowling has a first cowling portion and a second cowling portion that mates with the first cowling portion along a perimeter edge so as to enclose the marine drive. A perimeter seal is disposed along the perimeter edge and is axially sandwiched between the first cowling portion and the second cowling portion to thereby prevent ingress of water into the cowling. The perimeter seal is retained on the second cowling portion and is axially compressed against the first cowling portion when the second cowling portion is axially mated with the first cowling portion.
