COOLING APPARATUS FOR COOLING A FLUID BY MEANS OF SURFACE WATER
A cooling apparatus for cooling a fluid by means of surface water, the cooling apparatus comprising more than one tubes for containing and transporting the fluid in its interior, the exterior of the tube being in operation at least partially submerged in the surface water so as to cool the tube to thereby also cool the fluid, at least one light source for producing light that hinders fouling on at least part of the submerged exterior and at least one optic unit for enhancing the distribution of anti-fouling light on the submerged exterior. By this structure anti-fouling of the cooling apparatus can be assured in an effective manner.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING ENERGY-SAVING SAILING OF SHIP
The present invention discloses a method and device for controlling energy-saving sailing of a ship. The method comprises the steps of changing the operating parameters of the ship correspondingly when the resistance of the ship changes during routine sailing, controlling the current opening degree of a throttle to increase the instantaneous oil supply amount of a main engine of the ship if the resistance of the ship becomes smaller, and controlling the current opening degree of the throttle to reduce the instantaneous oil supply amount of the main engine of the ship if the resistance of the ship becomes larger. Compared with the prior art, the method and device have the advantages that energy waste is reduced greatly and the sailing cost is reduced.

Modular electric propulsion device for ships
A modular electric propulsion device for ships according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may be easily mounted in a ship after removing an existing engine from the ship because a switch board for power distribution, and an inverter and a motor for power conversion are modularized inside a single casing, and may be installed in a minimum space for installation because a distance between motor rotation shafts may be made close to each other even when two modular electric propulsion devices for ships are mounted in a dual installation manner.
Cycloidal Marine Propulsion Unit And A Marine Vessel Equipped Therewith
A cycloidal marine propulsion unit, including a hollow rotary casing having a central axis and defining a central inner space with an opening at an axial end thereof. A mounting body rotatably supports the rotary casing on a hull of a marine vessel. A rotating arrangement is provided for rotating said hollow rotary casing, while a plurality of blades extend axially from the rotary casing away from the hull. Each blade is mounted for pivotal movement with respect to the rotary casing, about respective blade axes. The rotating arrangement is configured to rotate the rotary casing by a circumference thereof. A blade shaft portion of each blade is at least partly received within the central inner space so as to attach said blade to the rotary casing.
System for supplying liquefied natural gas fuel with leak detection
The system heats glycol water using steam generated by a boiler and heating LNG using the glycol water, thereby increasing efficiently the LNG to temperature required for an engine. In addition, the system senses LNG flowing to a glycol tank using a pressure sensor, etc. when the LNG flows to the glycol tank due to pressure difference between a fuel supplying line and a glycol circulation line generated according as a heat exchanger is broken down, and outputs the flowed LNG to the outside. As a result, the glycol circulation line may be returned to original state and stability of the system may be enhanced.
