A thermal system for a marine vessel includes a thermal liquid circuit; a pump system for circulating a thermal liquid in the thermal liquid circuit; a number of thermal consumers; and a control device for controlling the pump system. The thermal consumers are arranged in parallel in the thermal liquid circuit, and the thermal consumers are arranged in series with respective Pressure Independent Control Valves (PICVs). A differential pressure sensor is adapted to sense a differential pressure indicative for the differential pressure over a critical one of the Pressure Independent Control Valves, and a signal from the differential pressure sensor is used by the control device as basis for controlling the pump system.

A ventilation system is provided for persistent natural ventilation by circulation of air between an interior space and an external environment. In one example, the ventilation system includes an air intake including a domed upper cover with exterior windows which allow air to circulate through an upper chamber, a baffle around floatable elements, the baffle including an annular protective screen and valve windows, a lower chamber fluidly coupled to each of the upper chamber via the baffle and an interior duct via a main window thereof, wherein the interior duct is fluidly coupled to the interior space, and wherein the floatable elements are positioned on respective seats when no liquid is present, each of the seats spaced a distance opposite to a respective one of the valve windows. Responsive to liquid entering the upper chamber via the exterior windows, the valve windows may be automatically blocked by the floatable elements.

A marine A/C system adapted for rooftop installation on a marine T-top on a marine vessel includes a package water-source heat pump having a DC powered refrigerant compressor, a corrosion resistant evaporator coil, and a water-cooled condenser. The package unit is housed within a fully enclosed protective structural weatherproof enclosure or dome, which may be formed in a disc shape resembling a high-end radar dome. Condenser water supply and return lines are concealed within structural tubing forming the T-top support frame thereby rendering the installation non-obvious. Condensate generated by evaporator coil collects in a drain pan and is removed by a suction fitting installed in the drain which is connected to a venturi fitting disposed in the condenser water line such that condensate is drawn from the dain pan and injected into the condenser water line. By injecting the condensate into the condenser water line the number of lines running to and/or from the T-top mounted package unit and in need of concealment is reduced.

The airflow cavity is configured to enable airflow from the inlet aperture to the outlet aperture. In addition, the ventilation system further includes an inlet or outlet vent structure configured to control the airflow entering or exiting the inlet or outlet aperture.
