A device (1) is configured to supply a consumer, the position of which initially cannot be exactly determined but later can be substantially stationarily fixed, with energy from a stationary supplier. The device includes a movable carriage or slide (2) connected to an arm (3). The arm (3) is movable between first and second positions (7, 8) and includes at least one plug part (4) for connection to a consumer's energy supply line (5). The plug part (4) is connected to the supplier with an energy supply line (6). A cover part (9), which is movable with the movement of the arm, is arranged on the arm (3). In the arm's first position (7), the cover part at least partially covers the plug part (4), and in the arm's second position (8), the cover part exposes the plug part (4) for connection to the consumer's energy supply line (5).

An apparatus for supporting cables, lines, and/or hoses that connect a moored boat to shore-based services includes a flexible rod and at least one guide. The flexible mod is mountable to a shore anchor, and the at least one guide is attached to the flexible rod. The at least one guide retains the at least one cable so that the at least one cable extends substantially parallel to the flexible rod.

Land connection for marine vessels having an articulated crane

An apparatus for electrically connecting a polyphase vessel distribution system of a vessel to a polyphase land supply system having a supply system connection disposed on land to be connected to a vessel system connection of the vessel distribution system at least in sections by at least one cable connection, enables a fast and secure connection of the land supply system to the vessel distribution system. During normal operation, vessel movements can be reliably compensated by at least one articulated arm used as a support for one or more cable connections. The articulated arm has arm segments interconnected by at least one articulated connection. A joint drive is associated with each articulated connection for mutually pivoting the arm segments interconnected by the articulated connection, which is associated with the joint drive.

A DC grid for an offshore structure has at least four switchboards, each switchboard having at least three connections to other switchboards and each connection including a switch. The grid further includes a plurality of energy sources on the offshore structure, at least one energy source being associated with one of the switchboards; and a plurality of energy consumers, at least one of the energy consumers being associated with one of the switchboards. Switches of the connections are adapted to be closed in normal operation; and the controller is adapted to send a signal from the controller to the switch to open the switch in the event of a fault.

COMPACT CONNECTOR AND COMPACT SOCKET FOR ELECTRICALLY POWERING A PORTABLE DEVICE FROM A FIXED NETWORK

An electrical connection assembly between a movable object and a fixed installation, the assembly including the following elements of substantially cylindrical shape, centered around a vertical axis and going downwards: a windlass using a chain to move a rod along the axis; an outlet receiving a plurality of connections and provided with a hawse pipe in which the rod can engage with small clearance; a connector provided with a top endplate receiving, facing the connections of the outlet, the complementary connections; a turnable lid protecting the connections; a guide and locking system for guiding and locking the rod; and having its bottom portion of conical shape; a rod passing downwards in succession through the hawse pipe of the outlet, then the lid, in order to reach a locking system for locking with the connector; and a basket of funnel-shape, with its large opening upwards, its shape being complementary to the bottom portion of the connector, and centering the connector on the axis.
