Pressure bulkhead system

A pressure bulkhead system comprises a pressure bulkhead adapted to be connected to a fuselage of a vehicle to separate a pressurized cabin space of the vehicle from an unpressurized cabin space of the vehicle, and a peripheral pressure frame to sealingly connect the pressure bulkhead to the vehicle fuselage. The peripheral pressure frame comprises an attachment section sealingly attached to an outer rim portion of a first surface of the pressure bulkhead. The first surface, when the pressure bulkhead system is installed in the vehicle, faces the unpressurized cabin space of the vehicle. A flange section is adapted to be sealingly attached to an inner surface of the vehicle fuselage and extends in a direction facing away from the first surface of the pressure bulkhead. A flexible section interconnects the attachment section and the flange section and is flexible to accommodate cabin pressure acting on the pressure bulkhead.

An aircraft outflow valve with a heat exchanger is disclosed herein. The aircraft outflow valve can include a heat exchanger that includes an air flow path. Air can flow through the air flow path and exit the outflow valve through an opening at the end of the air flow path. Such airflow can regulate the internal pressure of the aircraft and can also dissipate heat from the outflow valve. The outflow valve can further include a liquid coolant flow path. The liquid coolant flow path can be coupled to liquid coolant lines of electronics of the aircraft. Thus, heat from the electronics of the aircraft can be dissipated through heat transfer between the coolant and the outflow valve, which is accordingly cooled by the airflow through the heat exchanger.

DOOR SYSTEM WITH A DECELERATION MECHANISM

A door system with a deceleration mechanism may be adapted to control an opening of a door module that separates compartments of an aircraft and includes a door panel and a door frame. During the opening of the door module, the door panel performs a rotational movement 389 above a floor structure of the aircraft. The deceleration mechanism is operable in a normal operation mode and a deceleration mode and comprises a hinge, a wedge-shaped component that is rotatably attached to the hinge, and an activation device. The activation device is coupled to the wedge-shaped component and switches the deceleration mechanism from operating in the normal operation mode to operating in the deceleration mode when a difference in pressure between the compartments exceeds a predetermined threshold.
