An installation system for a cabin of a vehicle includes at least one built-in component for installation in the cabin, multiple base elements for arrangement on a structurally fixed component of the vehicle and multiple holding devices that can be connected to the at least one built-in component. The holding devices each include a clamping unit with receiving space defined by at least two clamping members, wherein the receiving space can be moved between an open and a closed state through movement of at least one of the clamping members in the direction of the other clamping member in each case and wherein the clamping unit is configured to move the at least one clamping member by pressing the clamping unit onto a base element when the receiving space is in the open state and thereby closing the receiving space including the base element.

Bulb stiffener with sinusoidal web
An improved composite stiffener and methods and tooling used to form the same. The stiffener includes one or more base flanges, a composite rod extending in an axial direction, a bulb cap surrounding the composite rod, and an upright web extending from the one or more base flanges to the base cap. The upright web includes a non-linear profile in the axial direction providing the improved lateral stiffness. The method includes providing tooling including a first compression tool extending in the axial direction and including a first web portion having a non-linear profile, and a second compression tool extending in the axial direction and including a second web portion having a non-linear profile. Plies are placed within the tooling and compressed such that at least a portion of plurality of plies are compressed in the web forming portion thereby forming a web of the bulb stiffener having a non-linear profile.

A component system for an aircraft, having at least one furnishing component, a plurality of component rails, a plurality of guide elements engageable with and movable relative to the component rails, a plurality of retaining elements connected to the guide elements and configured to be coupled to a hull structure of the aircraft or the at least one furnishing component, and a plurality of locking units arranged on the component rails and/or on the guide elements and configured to lock the guide elements to a particular rail. At least two component rails are arranged on the at least one furnishing component or the hull structure at a distance and parallel to each other such that the furnishing component is retractable via the component rails on guide elements or component rails that are spatially fixed in the aircraft and can be locked in a retracted position by the locking units.

A method for producing a panel with integrated conductor tracks and electronic components. The panel includes a panel body, wherein the panel body is in particular a sandwich structure, and a membrane. The membrane is connected to the panel body and has integrated conductor tracks and electronic components. At the beginning of the method, an operation for attaching the conductor tracks and the electronic components to the membrane is provided. The subsequent step includes an operation for connecting the membrane, fitted with the conductor tracks and the electronic components, to the panel body.
FLYING VEHICLE SYSTEMS AND METHODS
An unmanned aerial vehicle according to certain embodiments generally includes a chassis, a power supply mounted to the chassis, a control system operable to receive power from the power supply, at least one rotor operable to generate lift under control of the control system, and a winch mounted to the chassis. The winch includes a reel and a motor. The reel has a line wound thereon, the line having a free end. The reel includes a circumferential channel in which a wound portion of the line is wound onto the reel. The circumferential channel includes an inner portion, an outer portion, and a passage connecting the inner portion and the outer portion. The motor is operable to rotate the reel under control of the control system to thereby cause the line to wind onto and off of the reel, thereby causing the free end of the line to raise and lower.

The at least one housing element has at least one pair of housing holes for receiving fastening devices. The housing holes have a housing hole spacing which corresponds to at least one pair of cladding hole spacings.

Methods and apparatuses for performing automated operations using a high-density robotic cell. An apparatus comprises a first plurality of robotic devices; a second plurality of robotic devices; and a control system. Each of the second plurality of robotic devices is coupled to a single function end effector. The control system controls the second plurality of robotic devices to concurrently perform tasks at a plurality of locations on an assembly, while the first plurality of robotic devices independently maintain a clamp-up at each of the plurality of locations.
