TILT WINGED MULTI ROTOR
A multirotor aircraft that includes a chassis, at least three engines that are equipped with propellers, and one or more axial free wings that are connected to the chassis by axial connections. The leading edges of the one or more axial free wings are designed to face constantly same direction when the multirotor flying, and the attack angles of the one or more axial free wings are designed to be changed relatively to the chassis due to flow of air over the one or more axial free wings.
ELECTRICALLY POWERED VTOL AIRCRAFT FOR PROVIDING TRANSPORTATION
An electrically powered vertical takeoff and landing aircraft (EVTOL) includes a payload module, a plurality of electrical power sources. a wing, and a plurality of electric thrust generators. The wing is pivotally attached to the payload module and is configured to pivot about a pivot axis, relative to the payload module, to transition between vertical flight and horizontal flight. The electric thrust generators are operatively attached to the wing, where each one is operatively connected to a different electrical power source. The electric thrust generators operate to provide thrust to the aircraft in response to receiving electric power from the electrical power sources. The electric thrust generators pivot, with the wing, about the pivot axis, relative to the payload.
Systems and methods for autonomous selection and operation of combinations of stealth and performance capabilities of a multi-mode unmanned vehicle
An unmanned vehicle including a vehicle body, propulsion system, maneuvering system, vehicle control system, rack, sensor, and a power supply. The vehicle control may be used to control the unmanned vehicle in combination with the propulsion and the maneuvering system. The rack may include a retractable mount that may move between a down position and an up position. The sensor system may include a plurality of transient object detection sensors. The plurality of transient object detection sensors may include a sensor adapted to detect an item of interest and may provide an item of interest signal to the vehicle control system. The vehicle control system may identify an item of interest classification and may provide a classification signal. The classification signal may be determined by the item of interest classification and may be utilized to avoid detection of the unmanned vehicle by the item of interest.
Aerial vehicle having incline-controllable wings
An aerial vehicle having incline-controllable wings, according to one embodiment, can comprise: a body; a thrust part connected to the body and having a propeller and a rotary shaft; and the wings respectively arranged at both sides of the body, and disposed to be spaced from the thrust part. The wings pitch and rotate around a horizontal axis of the body such that the angle of attack of the wings is controlled, and an angle between the rotary shaft of the thrust part and the wing can vary because of the pitching and rotation of the wings.

Hypersonic waverider stream surface actuation for variable design point operation
A method of designing a hypersonic vehicle includes selecting a shock shape; tracing a leading edge along the shock shape; selecting a base plane defining endpoints of the leading edge and rearwardly displaced from a front of the leading edge; and tracing stream surfaces back from the leading edge along the shock to the base plane in order to define an upper surface and a lower surface, wherein the upper and lower surfaces and base plane enclose a volume representing internal volume of the hypersonic vehicle. The lower stream surface is controllably morphable.
Methods and systems for retaining lateral control of an unmanned aerial vehicle during landing with leveled inboard propellers
Systems, devices, and methods including an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV); one or more inner wing panels of the UAV; one or more outer wing panels of the UAV; at least one inboard propeller attached to at least one engine disposed on the one or more inner wing panels; at least one tip propeller attached to at least one engine disposed on the one or more outer wing panels; at least one microcontroller configured to: determine an angular position of the at least one inboard propeller; and send a signal to halt rotation of the at least one inboard propeller such that the at least one inboard propeller is held in an attitude that provides for clearance of the propeller blade to the ground upon landing.

Active sail blade
Embodiments are directed to systems and methods for deploying an outboard rotor blade of proprotor pylon to act as an extended lifting surface. Blade control actuators may provide primary rotor flight control as well as providing fold linkage actuation when fold locks are disengaged. During cruise flight, the blade control actuator may provide feathering inputs to the extended rotor blade, wherein the amplitude and frequency of feathering inputs are tuned to mitigate undesirable wing and fuselage dynamic modes thereby enhancing aircraft stability. The deployed rotor blades also improve the total lifting area of the aircraft, which may increase aircraft range and efficiency.
