Apparatuses and methods for drying hay bales
A hay bale dryer features a support frame inside of which there is delimited at least one bale space and at least one manifold carrying a set of aeration spears movable between a deployed position penetrating the bale space and a retracted position withdrawn therefrom. The manifold is moved between the positions by way of an actuator driven linkage, and the aeration spears comprise hollow elongated bodies of tapered thickness toward their distal ends for more effective penetration of the hay bales. A manufacturing method uses a hydraulic press to produce the hollow elongated bodies from lengths of originally cylindrically pipe. Horizontal feeding tables and upright feeding racks feature displaceable bale movers for moving queued hay bales along one or more queuing lanes into one or more bale dryers.
TRELLIS SYSTEM AND APPARATUS, DRYING SYSTEM AND APPARATUS, COMBINATION TRELLIS SYSTEM AND DRYING SYSTEM, AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
A trellis including a first frame to be removeably connected to one or more support posts, the first frame configured to have first plurality of support rods removeably connected thereto in a first orientation and a second plurality of support rods removeably connected thereto in a second orientation. The trellis may include a second frame to be removeably connected to the one or more support posts, the second frame configured to have a third plurality of support rods removeably connected thereto in a third orientation and a fourth plurality of support rods removeably connected thereto in a fourth orientation.

APPARATUS FOR TRANSPORTING HANGING CROPS
An apparatus for transporting hanging crops comprising a container having an open top and defining an interior compartment extending between first and second sides, a plurality of rigid elongate rods adapted to span between the first and second sides of the container, a plurality of pairs of rod supports secured to the first and second sides of the container proximate to the open top, adapted to removably receive the plurality of rigid elongate rods thereon; and a plurality of rollers secured to a bottom of the container. A method for transporting hanging crops supporting a plurality of crops along each of the plurality of elongate rods, adapted to span between the first and second sides of the container and lowering each of the plurality of elongate rods with the plurality of crops thereon into the interior compartment and suspending each of the plurality of elongate rods from the pairs of rod supports.
Food storage system
A food storage system for enhancing freshness of a perishable food item includes a bowl that is positioned on a support surface. A plate is provided and the plate is selectively positioned in the bowl. The plate is perforated to pass air between the plate and the bowl. A food item is selectively positioned on the plate thereby facilitating the food item to be kept dry. In this way the plate inhibits the food item from rotting and the plate enhances freshness of the food item.
