ASSEMBLY FIXTURE WITH ANISOTROPIC THERMAL PROPERTIES
In one embodiment, a method may comprise heating a composite material into a viscous form, wherein the composite material comprises a thermoplastic and a plurality of reinforcement fibers, wherein the plurality of reinforcement fibers is randomly arranged within the thermoplastic. The method may further comprise extruding a plurality of strands of the composite material, wherein extruding the plurality of strands causes the plurality of reinforcement fibers within each strand to align. The method may further comprise arranging the plurality of strands of the composite material to form an assembly fixture, wherein the assembly fixture comprises an anisotropic thermal expansion property, and wherein the anisotropic thermal expansion property is based on an orientation of the plurality of reinforcement fibers within the assembly fixture.
PROPELLER FOR AN AIRCRAFT PROPULSION ASSEMBLY, PROPULSION ASSEMBLY, AND METHOD FOR THE USE OF SUCH A PROPULSION ASSEMBLY
A propeller for an aircraft propulsion assembly extending longitudinally along an axis X. The propeller comprising a propeller cone, blades, a guide member extending longitudinally along the axis X and rotating as one with the propeller cone, the guide member being mounted outside the propeller cone in such a way as to form between them a guide path, the guide member having an upstream opening configured to convey a flow of air in the guide path and a downstream opening in such a way as to remove the flow of air downstream, the guide member having through-orifices through which extend the blades of the propeller and compressor vanes, which rotate as one with the propeller cone and which are positioned in the guide path in such a way as to generate an accelerated air flow.

Propeller
A propeller having a plurality of blades extending radially outward from a hub, the blades forming a loop. Each loop having an intake portion, an exhaust portion and a tip portion extending radially outward from the hub and a gap between the intake root and the exhaust root. The tip portion of each of the blades is 30%-75% of the blade, the tip portion beginning at a first deviation from zero of the roll value and extending to 90 degrees, wherein roll value is zero in a plane parallel to the hub axis, and wherein the blades have a vertical angle between ?45 degrees and 45 degrees throughout.

REDUCED BLADE VORTEX INTERACTION
A blade includes an elongated body having a leading edge, a trailing edge, a root end, and a tip end, a fluid inlet arranged closer to the root end than the fluid outlet, a fluid outlet arranged near the tip end of the elongated body, and a centrifugal air flow channel defined within the body between the inlet and the outlet to direct air from the inlet to the outlet to issue the flow when the rotor blade is rotating in a rotational path. The blade also includes a valve to selectively open and close the centrifugal air flow channel to selectively issue the flow and change a blade vortex issuing from the rotor blade at discrete portions of the rotational path of the rotor blade. A controller can be operatively connected to the valve to control the valve to open and close the centrifugal air flow channel.
Unducted fan having variable pitch blades comprising reduced disturbance platforms
An unducted fan having variable pitch blades for an aircraft or wind propulsion system is described. The fan includes a hub provided with housings pivotally receiving vanes about radial axes, and an outer casing of the hub into which circular openings of the housings open. Each vane includes a root which is rotatably mounted in the associated housing, a radially oriented blade and a disc-shaped platform extending from the blade to an edge of the circular opening. The blade includes at least one skin which includes a free lower edge facing the side of the root, wherein the platform is attached to the free lower edge of the skin.
