AIRBORNE PATHOGEN EXTRACTION SYSTEM
20210402044 · 2021-12-30 ·

An airborne pathogen extraction system that provides for continuous airborne pathogen particle extraction from a specifically targeted area in a room or a specifically targeted area proximate to a user. The pathogenic particles are filtered and/or disinfected before the air is returned proximate to the originating location, or are directed an area away from the user(s). The airborne pathogen extraction systems and methods lower the chances of contagion or infection from airborne pathogens, such as viruses.

NEGATIVE PRESSURE PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
20210401532 · 2021-12-30 · ·

A protective equipment includes a rotatable window and an extended member secured to a peripheral edge of the rotatable window. The rotatable window may be configured as a shield to be disposed between a patient and a healthcare worker to minimize exposure of the healthcare worker to at least one of the patient's bodily fluids, bacteria, and viruses. A port provides entrance by one or more instruments through the rotatable window or the extended member, thereby providing access to the patient while protecting the healthcare worker from the patient's bodily fluids, bacteria and/or viruses. The protective equipment may include an air flow system configured to receive and filter air expelled by the patient, to pull the expelled air away from the patient's face and to filter/clean the expelled air.

Face shield system
11206881 · 2021-12-28 ·

A face shield system formed by a lay-flat headband removably joined with a lay-flat face shield. The headband having a first connection feature located at one end of the headband and a second connection feature located at an opposing end of the headband. The second connection feature removably connects with the first connection feature in order to provide a closed headband configured for placement around a user's head. A third connection feature is located between the first and second connection features. The face shield includes a fourth connection feature that removably engages with the third connection feature when the face shield is in a curved configuration in order to removably connect the headband together with the face shield. When the face shield is connected to the head band, a center of the face shield is spaced apart from a face of the user and a center of the headband.

Surgical Garment

A surgical garment for use with a helmet, wherein the garment comprises a shell, a transparent face shield, and an attachment element coupled to the transparent face shield. The garment may be configured to define a barrier between the wearer and the environment. The attachment element configured to removably couple with a coupling member of the helmet, wherein the attachment element and coupling member comprise complementary coupling surfaces. The attachment element comprises a head having a distal surface and a proximal surface, and defining a coupling recess, the coupling recess is defined in the proximal surface of the head. The garment may comprise a first and second attachment element, with the first attachment element being coupled to upper portion of the transparent face shield and the second attachment element being coupled to lower portion of the transparent face shield.

Transparent flexible self-attaching face mask
20210386141 · 2021-12-16 ·

A reusable transparent flexible silicone mask has a border coated with hydrogel or non-toxic emulsion adhesive that adheres directly to a wearer's face by hydrogel emulsion adhesion, without ear elastics or ties around the back of the head. The mask protects against breathing pathogens. The mask has a half-face version that covers the wearer's nose and mouth, a goggles version, and a full-face version. The mask may include one or more of a removable air filter cartridge, a breathing valve, a headlamp, a glasses gate, and a headband for keeping the mask on the wearer's body even when the mask is not affixed to the face.

PROTECTIVE SHIELD SYSTEM

Methods, apparatus, and systems for reducing transmission of aerosol droplets in a medical or dental procedure are described. One protective shield system includes a base plate, a shield having at least one transparent section, and a pipe or conduit comprising a plurality of holes thereon. The shield is configured to be removably attached to the base plate to allow attachment of the shield to the base plate prior to the medical or dental procedure and removal of the shield from the base plate after the medical or dental procedure. The pipe or conduit is positioned adjacent to an inner surface of the shield and on at least part of a perimeter of the shield. The pipe includes an end that is configured to connect to a suction system to enable removal of the aerosolized particles from below the shield during the medical or dental procedure.

PATIENT RESPIRATORY ISOLATION SHIELD DEVICES AND METHODS

A system and/or method for isolating respiratory excretions from a patient during a medical procedure performed on the airways of a patient. A shield device includes a barrier, one or more support arms, and an access port. The barrier can be a flexible material, and is impervious to air. The support arm(s) maintain the barrier in a deployed state for placement over a patient's head, including the patient's mouth and nose being located within an isolation region established by the barrier. The access port is carried by the barrier and is configured to permit sealed passage of a medical device (e.g., an endoscope) into the isolation region for interfacing with the patient's airway.

COLLAPSIBLE ISOLATION SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
