A decking beam end assembly is provided. The assembly comprises a beam end body configured to be slidably disposed within an end of a hollow beam member. A U-shaped foot is pivotally coupled to the beam end body, wherein the foot further comprises a flanged head configured to be slidably captured within a capture area of an L-track. A latch is pivotally coupled to the foot, wherein the latch comprises a retaining lug configured to concurrently fit into two successive circular openings of the L-track and a straight rail opening in the L-track connecting the two circular openings.

A safeguarding arrangement for restricting the movability of at least one transport container storable or stored in a support structure receptacle. The transport container may be used for transporting goods, for example, in an aircraft, and may be stowed in the aircraft's galley area as a trolley. The safeguarding arrangement has a first safeguarding installation with at least one first safeguarding arrangement. The at least one first safeguarding arrangement allows the insertion or removal of the at least one transport container into the receptacle or from the receptacle, respectively, in its open position via an opening. The safeguarding arrangement overlaps a clean measure of the opening of the receptacle, at least zonally, in a hold position, in which the at least one transport container is held against removal from the receptacle. Further, the first safeguarding arrangement is formed variably with regard to its engagement depth into the receptacle.

Each container of the plurality of containers comprises a plurality of fittings for securing the container to the spine assembly and/or another container of the container assembly. Each mount row extends along a width of the spine assembly, and the plurality of mount rows are spaced apart at regular distance intervals along a length of the spine.

A cargo restraint system and associated methods may include sensing assemblies associated with cargo latches in a cargo hold of an aircraft. In some embodiments, the sensing assemblies include sensors configured to sense information relating to the cargo latches, wireless communication circuits configured to transmit the sensed information to a central controller, and batteries powering the wireless communication circuits. A wireless power transmission system may be configured to wirelessly broadcast power to the sensor assemblies to charge the batteries. In some embodiments, the cargo latches are transitionable between an extended configuration for cargo restraint and a retracted configuration for cargo loading and unloading, and the sensors are configured to sense whether the cargo latches are in the extended configuration.

Aircraft cargo pallet lock assemblies

Aircraft cargo lock assemblies are capable of positionally restraining movement of a cargo load pallet in both vertical and horizontal planes relative to the cargo deck of the aircraft. According to certain embodiments, the lock assemblies will include an actuator case and a restraint element which comprises at least one restraint plate and restraint detent, the restraint element being connected to the actuator case for pivotal movements between locked and released conditions relative to an edge of a cargo load pallet positioned on a cargo deck of an aircraft so as to positionally restrain the cargo load pallet against movement in both vertical and horizontal planes relative to the cargo deck. An actuator assembly is operably connected to the restraint element for moving the restraint element between the locked and released conditions thereof.

The outer fairing at least partially encloses the container assembly. Each container of the plurality of containers comprises a plurality of fittings for securing the container to the spine assembly and/or another container of the container assembly. The container assembly is enclosed within a pressurization space for pressurizing the container assembly.

RESTRAINT ASSEMBLY FOR CARGO SYSTEM

A restraint assembly includes a base configured to be mounted to a tray of the cargo system, a lateral restraint, and a vertical restraint. The lateral restraint comprises a guide face and a top edge, wherein the lateral restraint is rotatably coupled to the base, according to various embodiments. The vertical restraint extends from the top edge of the lateral restraint, according to various embodiments. The restraint assembly comprises a stored position and a raised position. In the stored position both the lateral restraint and the vertical restraint are configured to be disposed within a volume defined by the tray of the cargo system. In the raised position the vertical restraint and at least the guide face of the lateral restraint are configured to be disposed above the volume defined by the tray of the cargo system to provide guidance and restraint to cargo.
