INFLATABLE ISOLATION WALLS FOR AIRCRAFT CABINS
A partition for dividing a portion of an aircraft including at least a first inflatable cavity defined by a plurality of material sheets, and a nozzle configured to provide fluidic access to the first inflatable cavity, wherein the nozzle is configured to attach to an aircraft air vent.
PRIVATE SUITE FOR ECONOMY CABIN SPACE IN AIRCRAFT
An economy class (Y class) private suite includes a continuous seatback and a stowable aisle-side panel. The continuous seatback covers the gaps between seats of a 3-seat or 4-seat PAX and the stowable aisle-side panel slides to close off the PAX from the aisle when desirable. Each seat in the PAX includes an extension element to extend from the anterior surface of the seat cushion and establish a substantially flat surface including the seat cushions and extension elements. A separate padded element may be placed over the substantially flat surface. Each seatback cushion in the PAX is removable and reconfigurable as a reclining support or expanded armrest.
Mobile class divider for aircraft cabin
A mobile class divider transversely partitions the interior space of a cabin of an aircraft. The divider is delimited by ceiling trim panels, at least two lateral rows of overhead luggage compartments extending longitudinally near to the ceiling trim panels, lateral walls and a floor. The divider slidably mountable to guide rails arranged between the overhead luggage compartments and the ceiling trim panels. The divider includes a transverse main framework extending on either side of the lateral walls, at least two guide blocks supported by the framework, and an adjustment feature. The length of the divider is adjustable to adapt to the distance, in the transverse direction, that separates said guide rails of said cabin.
Aft complex galley and lavatory arrangement
A modular aft galley and lavatory complex is disclosed. The galley complex is situated aft of an aircraft passenger cabin and incorporates left-side, right-side, and aft galley structures together partially enclosing an interior workspace, the left-side and right-side galley structures separated by a center aisle. Each galley structure includes trolley bays capable of securing trolleys therewithin. Each trolley can be removed from its trolley bay into the interior workspace or central aisle for use in catering or service operations inflight. Each galley structure includes storage bays accessible from the interior workspace. Between the upper and lower portions are flat workdecks and galley insert bays capable of accepting ovens, chillers, beverage makers, and other galley insert devices. Either the left or right galley structure includes a lavatory complex adjacent to the passenger cabin, incorporating aft lavatory units and a galley extension housing additional storage and cart space.
Stowage mechanisms for display devices of aircraft passenger compartment suites
An aircraft passenger compartment suite may include a first side with a first display device, a second side with a second display device, and a privacy divider separating the first side and the second side. The first display device may be configured to actuate between a first deployed position and a first stowed position via a first stowage mechanism. The second display device may be configured to actuate between a second deployed position and a second stowed position via a second stowage mechanism. The privacy divider may include one or more panels configured to actuate between a panel deployed position and a panel stowed position. The privacy divider may be open when at least one of the first display device is in the first stowed position, the second display device is in the second stowed position, or the one or more panels are in the panel stowed position.
Forward interior space arrangement for an aircraft
An interior space for an aircraft includes a cockpit, a cockpit wall separating the cockpit from the remaining interior space, a cabin door arranged directly behind the cockpit wall for accessing the interior space of the aircraft from outside the fuselage, a modular installation space for installation equipment, a plurality of seat rows, a longitudinal aisle extending along the interior space through the seat rows to separate adjacent groups of seats from each other, and an access path for the cabin door. The access path extends from the cabin door to the longitudinal aisle to create an intersection region between the access path and the longitudinal aisle. The modular installation space is arranged directly forward of the seat rows. The access path extends at an angle of at least 100° to the longitudinal aisle in a forward direction.
Convertible Aircraft Cabin Monument
Convertible monuments for aircraft cabins that house at least one lavatory can comprise moveable wall sections that can be reversibly deployed from a stowed configuration to a deployed configuration to form a temporary convertible monument having a monument footprint that overlaps at least a portion of an aircraft interior egress pathway during flight, and efficiently uses previously unused aircraft interior space during aircraft flight.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REDUCING SPREAD OF CONTAGION IN PASSENGER VEHICLES
In accordance with at least one aspect of this disclosure, a system for preventing spread of contagion in a passenger vehicle includes, a barrier housing configured to mount to a first surface in the passenger vehicle, a retractable barrier housed in the barrier housing configured to move between a deployed position and a retracted position, a retraction mechanism operatively connected to the retractable barrier within the barrier housing configured to bias the retractable barrier to the retracted position, and a barrier retainer configured to mount to a second surface in the passenger vehicle opposite the first surface to retain the retractable barrier in the deployed position. In certain embodiments, the retractable barrier can include a free end configured to be pulled by a user.
Actuatable display devices for aircraft passenger compartment suites
An aircraft passenger compartment suite may include a privacy divider configured to separate a first side of the aircraft passenger compartment suite including a first aircraft seat and a second side of the aircraft passenger compartment suite including a second aircraft seat. The aircraft passenger compartment suite may include a collapsible display device positioned proximate to the privacy divider of the aircraft passenger compartment suite. The aircraft passenger compartment suite may include a first display device and a first plate configured to be an extension of a horizontal surface in the first side when the first display device is in a first display device stowed position. The aircraft passenger compartment suite may include a second display device and a second plate configured to be an extension of a horizontal surface in the second side when the second display device is in a second display device stowed position.
CARRIER DEVICE, SEATING AREA DIVIDER AND VEHICLE CABIN
A carrier device for a seating area divider provided within a vehicle cabin, in particular an aircraft cabin, comprising at least a base member and a fixation device which is coupled to the base member to support the base member on a cabin floor. The base member is configured to carry a privacy divider screen of the seating area divider. The fixation device comprises at least a seat track locking member protruding perpendicular from the base member.
