The room includes a floor wall portion that is configured to face a seat of the cabin, a side wall portion that extends from the floor wall portion in a direction away from the seat and has an opening portion for entering and leaving the room, a ladder portion extending in a direction toward the seat from a periphery of the opening portion, and a ceiling wall portion that extends to couple the floor wall portion and the side wall portion and has an engagement structure with an inner wall of the cabin.

A pivotable luggage locker for a vehicle, the luggage locker including a luggage compartment which has a bottom and the rear wall, and a first holder. An aircraft interior structure may include a primary monument, an auxiliary monument, and a passenger seating section. The primary monument may include one or more storage compartments and a primary panel configured to actuate between a primary panel stowed position and a primary panel deployed position. The auxiliary monument may be spaced a select distance from the primary monument across a floor area of an aircraft cabin, and may include an auxiliary panel configured to actuate between an auxiliary panel stowed position and an auxiliary panel deployed position. The passenger seating section may include a footwell at least partially within the primary monument and proximate to the one or more storage compartments. The footwell may correspond to an aircraft seat. The aircraft seat may be configured to form a bed surface with at least a portion being within the footwell when the aircraft seat is in a lie-flat position.
AIR DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM FOR USE IN AN AIRCRAFT
An aircraft including a fuselage having a side wall at least partially defining a passenger cabin and a crown section of the aircraft. The passenger cabin includes an overhead zone, a passenger zone, and a floor zone. An air supply duct is positioned within the crown section, and the air supply duct is configured to pressurize the crown section with air. At least one return air outlet is defined in the floor zone. An interior structure is coupled to the side wall and extends between the passenger cabin and the crown section. The interior structure includes a plurality of nozzles oriented to discharge the pressurized air from the crown section along an airflow path that extends downward through the overhead zone, downward through the passenger zone, and then towards the at least one return air outlet.

An aircraft passenger compartment suite may include at least one single passenger compartment including at least one single aircraft seat. The at least one single aircraft seat may be configured to seat a single passenger. The aircraft passenger compartment suite may include a combined divan passenger compartment with a combined divan aircraft seat. The combined divan aircraft seat may be configured to seat at least one passenger. The combined divan aircraft seat may have a width greater than a width of the at least one single aircraft seat. The combined divan passenger compartment may include a stowage compartment configured to stow large passenger amenities in a substantially vertical orientation. The aircraft passenger compartment suite may include a privacy divider separating the combined divan passenger compartment and the at least one single passenger compartment.
AIRCRAFT SANITIZATION SYSTEMS AND DEVICES
An aircraft sanitization system is disclosed. The aircraft sanitization system includes a frame. The aircraft sanitization system further includes a tray operatively coupled to at least first two corners of the frame and is rotatable about a pivot axis. The tray is configured to be in one of a locked state and an unlocked state based on rotation about the pivot axis. In the unlocked state the tray is at an angle greater than zero with respect to the frame and in the locked state the tray is at an angle equal to zero with respect to the frame. The aircraft sanitization system further includes a set of Ultraviolet (UV) Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) attached on an exposed surface of the frame, wherein the set of UV LEDs is configured to sanitize the tray when the tray is in the locked state.
Method for installing an interior fitting component of an aircraft, interior fitting component for an aircraft and system for mounting interior fitting components
A method for installing a preassembled internal fitting component of an aircraft, at least one luggage compartment being attached in an articulated manner to a fixing means and beside a ceiling lining and, optionally, a service unit being attached in an articulated manner to the luggage compartment and, likewise optionally, a covering element being attached in an articulated manner to the service unit. Following transport of the preassembled internal fitting component into a final mounting position, the individual elements of the internal fitting component can be mounted in the aircraft one after another by folding out and mounting. Also, a corresponding internal fitting component and to a system for mounting internal fitting components with a mobile mounting device.
CONTOUR CLASS DIVIDER
An implementation of a contoured class divider for dividing an aircraft cabin includes a panel positioned between an aft seat and a forward seat, the panel having an aft-facing convex contour closely matching an aft-facing contour of a seatback of the forward seat and configured to enhance space utilization. The contoured class divider may include an articulation system to articulate at least a portion of the panel from a first position (normal operation) to a second position (emergency landing). The contoured class divider may provide up to an additional 12 inches of space which can be used to reduce seat pitch (and thereby enhance passenger comfort) or increase the number of rows of seats on a given aircraft.
FOREIGN OBJECT DETECTION FOR PASSENGER-ACCESSIBLE STOWAGE COMPARTMENTS
Systems and methods relating to foreign object detection with respect to passenger-accessible stowage compartments are provided. According to one example, sensor data is captured via a sensor subsystem that includes a sensor associated with each of a plurality of stowage compartments. For each of the stowage compartments, a baseline condition is identified in which foreign objects are absent from the stowage compartment. A foreign object is detected within a stowage compartment based on the sensor data received for the stowage compartment and the baseline condition identified for the stowage compartment. An audit of the stowage compartments is conducted, and based on the audit, an indication that the foreign object is detected within the stowage compartment is output. This indication may identify the stowage compartment containing the foreign object among the plurality of stowage compartments.
