An aircraft passenger compartment suite may include a privacy shell element proximate to an aircraft seat installed within the aircraft passenger compartment suite. The privacy shell element may include a first section configured to conform to a primary section of the aircraft seat, and a second section configured to conform to an auxiliary section of the aircraft seat. The privacy shell element may include a first profile configured to conform with the aircraft seat when the aircraft seat is in a first position, and a second profile configured to conform with the aircraft seat when the aircraft seat is in a second position. The second profile of the privacy shell element may be configured to occupy a greater amount of passenger aircraft living space surrounding the aircraft passenger compartment suite than an amount of passenger aircraft living space occupied by the first profile of the privacy shell element.

Adjustable monument hard point mounting device

An adjustable monument mounting assembly is provided. The assembly comprises a saddle bracket that includes a recessed pocket section with a hole. A threaded adjustable fitting is configured at a first end to fit within the hole in the pocket and is accessible through the pocket. The opposite end of the adjustable fitting is configured to contact a structural mounting point. The adjustable fitting can be rotated within the hole and adjusted to bridge a gap between the saddle bracket and structural mounting point, eliminating the need for a shim. A bolt fits through a center through-hole in the adjustable fitting, allowing the adjustable fitting and bolt couple the saddled bracket to the structural mounting point.

Slim aircraft monument with deployable workstation

A slim aircraft monument includes a structure installable in an aircraft passenger cabin adjacent to a cabin space (e.g., in front of an otherwise unused exit door). The slim monument has an overall width of not more than four to six inches. The slim monument includes a side door with an external handle, the door deployable into the cabin space to reveal a group of nested interconnected panels within. The nested panels are similarly deployable into the cabin space to form a substantially horizontal work surface and, underneath the work surface, vertically stacked bays providing temporary storage for storage drawers and a cart space adjacent to the storage drawers, the cart space capable of accommodating a half-size galley cart.

A modular bar and shop space for an aircraft galley is disclosed. In embodiments, the bar and shop space includes an aircraft monument installable either adjacent to a galley complex or as a standalone. The monument has upper and lower portions disposed behind upper and lower panels; the upper portion includes chiller and warmer compartments. The lower portion includes storage shelving and is deployable into the space in front of the monument. When the lower portion deploys, the vertical upper panel tracks downward into a horizontal workdeck above the storage shelving. The deployed workdeck may be used as a counterspace for a snack bar or social area for passengers, or as additional temporary workspace for cabin crew.

Fuselage and aircraft including an air distribution multifunctional substructure and assembly method

An aircraft fuselage including a fuselage skin, cross-members supporting a floor of the aircraft, wherein the fuselage includes a multifunctional substructure fixed to at least one of the cross-members in a lowered part of the cross-member. The multifunctional substructure comprises: at least one duct of an air distribution system having a substantially rectangular section at the location of the at least one cross-member and having lateral walls of the duct that are substantially vertical; a seat fixing track or a stiffener fixed on a first lateral wall of the duct of the multifunctional substructure, and; a seat fixing track or a stiffener fixed on a second lateral wall, opposite the first lateral wall, of the duct of the multifunctional substructure.

Transformable monuments may be positioned proximate to aircraft exit doors to utilize the doorway spaces as temporary workspaces for cabin crew or destination spaces for passengers once cruising altitude is achieved. A transformable monument includes transforming portions that extend or pivot into an aircraft cross-aisle upon actuation of an exterior latch by either hand. The transforming portions extend or pivot into horizontal surfaces for crew or passenger use while protecting the exit doors from unauthorized access by passengers inflight. Transforming portions of a single monument may extend partially or fully across the cross-aisle, or a system of two transformable monuments on either side of the exit door may collectively define the temporary space. The upper and middle sections of the monument may include additional storage or self-service compartments for providing refreshments or other amenities to passengers.

Gap covering between cabin monuments, in particular for a passenger cabin of an aircraft

A cabin monument arrangement for a passenger cabin of an aircraft, has at least two cabin monuments arranged next to each other, aligned substantially parallel and forming a gap. The gap includes a gap covering in the fastening region of the first lateral monument part and of the second lateral monument part in the region of the front edge portion of the respective cabin monument. In each case, a first contour-adapted rigid fastening strip is on the fastening region and a second contour-adapted, rigid fastening strip is on the second fastening region. A covering element is between the first and second fastening strips for covering the gap between the first monument part and the second monument part, the covering element formed from a flexible covering material of thin design. A corresponding covering of the gap between the cabin monuments can therefore be achieved with sufficient flexibility and material width.
