AUGMENTED REALITY SYSTEM FOR PILOT AND PASSENGERS

The present invention achieves technical advantages as an aircraft having an augmented reality flight control system integrated with and operable from the pilot seat and an associated pilot headgear unit, wherein the flight control system is supplemented by flight-assisting artificial intelligence and geo-location systems. The present invention includes an augmented reality flight control system incorporating real-world objects with virtual elements to provide relevant data to a pilot during aircraft flight. A translucent substrate is disposed in the pilot's field of view such that the pilot can see therethrough, and observe virtual elements displayed on the substrate. The system includes a headgear that is worn by the pilot. A flight assistance module is configured to receive data related to the aircraft and provide predictive assistance to the pilot during flight based on the received data based in part on a pilot profile having preferences related to the pilot.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR OPERATING A CONFIGURATION PLATFORM

A system for operating a configuration platform. The system comprising a conversion pipeline, the conversion pipeline allowing converting a first set of data associated with a computer-aided design (CAD) system into polygon meshes suitable for rendering of the portion of a monument and configuration data. The system also comprising a content management system, the content management system storing the polygon meshes and the configuration data; and a 3D real-time engine, the 3D real-time engine allowing to determine, based on the configuration data, at least one of the positioning of the monument, the material surface associated with the monument, the material grain direction associated with the monument, the lighting associated with the monument, the annotations associated with the monument, the alternate states associated with the monument and the kinematic sequence associated with the monument; and to render the portion of the monument by the 3D real-time engine.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONFIGURING AN INTERIOR OF A RECONFIGURABLE VEHICLE
20210039786 · 2021-02-11 ·

A method for configuring an interior of a reconfigurable vehicle using one or more cabin modules. The method comprises providing, by a user interface system, a plurality of possible cabin configuration options to a plurality of users for selection by the plurality of users so as to generate selection data indicative of cabin configuration options selected by the users. The cabin configuration options relate to types of configuration of the one or more cabin modules. The method comprises determining an availability of cabin configuration options based on inventory data which relates to types of configuration of cabin modules that are currently available for use so as to generate availability data, and generating a forecast of cabin modules predicted to be loaded on the reconfigurable vehicle based on the selection data and the availability data. The method further comprises updating the availability data and the selection data substantially in real time based on the inventory data and user input to the user interface system so as to generate updated availability data and updated selection data, and modifying the forecast based on the updated availability data and the updated selection data. The method comprises finalizing the forecast so as to generate commissioning data indicative of cabin modules to be loaded on the reconfigurable vehicle, loading the reconfigurable vehicle with one or more cabin modules based on the commissioning data, and updating the inventory data based on the cabin modules that are loaded on the reconfigurable vehicle.

CABIN MODULE

A cabin module deployable inside a vehicle so as to form at least a portion of an interior of the vehicle. The cabin module comprises a main body and a plurality of external walls. One or more of the plurality of external walls are moveable with respect to the main body. The module has a closed configuration for storage outside the vehicle, in which the plurality of external walls define at least a part of a first form factor of the module. The module has an open configuration for operational deployment in the vehicle, in which the plurality of external walls define at least a part of a second form factor of the module. The cabin module is reversibly changeable between the closed configuration and the open configuration by movement of the one or more external walls. The first form factor is different from the second form factor.
