Monument fixtures
A frame member, a monument for a vehicle, and a vehicle are provided. The frame member includes an extrusion that has a spar with first and second opposing surfaces and first and second opposing ends. The spar includes a first retention lip extending from the first planar surface along the first end at an acute angle relative to the first planar surface. The spar includes a rub strip protrusion extending from the first planar surface between the first and second ends. The rub strip protrusion includes a third end and a second retention lip extending from a third surface facing the first retention lip. The second retention lip and the third surface form an acute angle. The extrusion also includes at least two panel protrusions extending from the second planar surface of the spar. A rub strip can include retention tabs with outward-facing notches that engage the first and second retention lips.
Flexible bar and shop space for aircraft cabin
A modular bar and shop space for an aircraft galley is disclosed. In embodiments, the bar and shop space includes an aircraft monument installable either adjacent to a galley complex or as a standalone. The monument has upper and lower portions disposed behind upper and lower panels; the upper portion includes chiller and warmer compartments. The lower portion includes storage shelving and is deployable into the space in front of the monument. When the lower portion deploys, the vertical upper panel tracks downward into a horizontal workdeck above the storage shelving. The deployed workdeck may be used as a counterspace for a snack bar or social area for passengers, or as additional temporary workspace for cabin crew.
ARRANGEMENT IN A VEHICLE CABIN WITH CABIN MONUMENTS PLACEABLE IN ROWS WITH LAMINAR CONTACT OF THE LATERAL SURFACES THEREOF
An arrangement in a cabin of a vehicle has a plurality of cabin monuments, placeable in rows, of which the lateral surfaces are in laminar contact, said cabin monuments having a front side and a rear side and a wall surface of the aircraft fuselage, at least sections of which face toward the cabin of the vehicle and are not aligned parallel with a lengthwise axis of the cabin. The cabin monuments are arranged in rows parallel to the lengthwise axis of the cabin, so that the front sides and the rear sides are each aligned parallel to the lengthwise axis of the cabin. The rear sides of at least two cabin monuments, each of which include storage space for cabin trolleys, are positioned with an offset relative to each other in a direction transverse to the lengthwise axis of the cabin.
METHOD FOR INSTALLING A FASTENING STRUCTURE FOR AT LEAST ONE COMPONENT ON AN ATTACHMENT STRUCTURE OF A VEHICLE INTERIOR AND JIG FOR POSITIONING A FASTENING STRUCTURE
A method for installing a component fastening structure on an attachment structure where the fastening structure includes a unit including an elongate body, a first strut detachably coupled between the elongate body and a first fastening for fastening the unit to the attachment structure, a second strut detachably coupled at an inclined angle between the elongate body and the first fastening. The first and/or second strut are variably positionable relative to the elongate body and are lockable in an end position. A jig including a support structure is detachably coupled to the fastening structure elongate body, and a height adjustment device on which the support structure is mounted, is adjusted to arrange the first elongate body at a pre-determined height. The jig is moved relative to the attachment structure to engage the first fastening with an attachment structure first fixture and fastening the first fastening to the first fixture.
SYSTEM FOR MANUFACTURING A KITCHEN ARRANGEMENT, KITCHEN ARRANGEMENT AND AN AIRCRAFT
A system for manufacturing a kitchen arrangement for a cabin of a vehicle includes a primary module with an electrical energy supply device, a cooling device, and at least one supply connection for supplying the primary module with a requisite. The system also includes at least one auxiliary module that is couplable with the primary module. The cooling device is set up to provide a stream of cooled fluid to a fluid outlet. At least one outer boundary surface of the primary module comprises an electrical connection coupled with the electrical energy supply device and a fluid connection coupled with the fluid outlet. The at least one outer boundary surface is adjusted for coupling with an auxiliary module having a correspondingly shaped boundary surface.
Fixation assembly for affixing a first object to and variably spaced from a second object
A fixation assembly for affixing a first object to and variably spaced from a second object. The assembly comprises a male fastener and a female fastener. The male fastener comprises a bolt-shaped part having a circumferential outer surface. The surface includes alternately on a circumferential path, in a cross-sectional plane of the part, at least one ridged section and at least one plain section. The female fastener comprises a tubular part having a circumferential inner surface. The inner surface includes alternately on a circumferential path, in a cross-sectional plane of the part, at least one ridged section and at least one plain section. The male fastener can be inserted into the female fastener such that its ridged section coincides with the female fastener plain section. Either the male or female fastener is configured to be rotated relative to the other, thereby engaging respective ridges of the two fasteners.
AIRCRAFT INTERIOR UNIT WITH DETACHABLE PANEL
An aircraft interior unit with a detachable panel. The aircraft interior unit comprises a wall comprising a hollow panel, and a door mounted to the wall. The door is slidable between a closed position in which it covers an entrance to the aircraft interior unit, and an open position in which the entrance to the aircraft interior unit is uncovered. In the open position, the door is at least partially disposed within the hollow panel of the wall. The hollow panel can be detached from the rest of the aircraft interior unit, and the door, when moved from the open position, can be detached from the wall.
Aircraft monument, aircraft galley, aircraft, and method of operating an aircraft monument
An aircraft monument comprising a desk and a movable part that is mounted to the aircraft monument by means of an attachment device. The movable part is pivotable about an axis between a first position in which the movable part covers a first area of the desk and is essentially arranged inside of the aircraft monument such that its front faces in a first direction towards the back of the aircraft monument, and a second position in which the movable part is at least partially arranged outside of the aircraft monument and its front faces in a second direction that crosses the first direction. The movable part, in its second position, covers a second area of the desk that is less than the first area.
MINI SUITE EMERGENCY EGRESS SOLUTIONS
