Seating arrangement convertible to a bunk bed
A seating arrangement includes a seat with a seating surface and a top bunk disposed adjacent to the seat. The seat and the top bunk are configurable between a first configuration and a second configuration. In the first configuration, the seat accommodates a user in a seated position and the top bunk is stowed. In the second configuration, the seat and the top bunk form a bunk bed configured to accommodate users in prone positions. In the first configuration, the seating surface is disposed at a first predetermined height. In addition, in the second configuration, the seating surface is disposed at a second predetermined height that is lower than the first predetermined height.
Aircraft monument integrated attachment device
An attachment device for an aircraft monument is disclosed having a pair of spaced apart parallel plates having vertical sides and a rounded upper surface defining an arch. A panel attaches the spaced apart parallel plates along an inner radius, and a pair of lugs including a vertical channel is disposed below the plates for receiving fasteners to connect the attachment device to a rail or planar surface.
Economy class passenger seat row convertible to bunk beds
A passenger seat row, for a vehicle such as a passenger aircraft, convertible between passenger seats and bunk beds. The passenger seat row includes a frame assembly including a backrest extending substantially a length of the frame assembly, the backrest configured to move between a stowed condition against the frame assembly and a deployed condition forming a substantially horizontal bed. Armrests attached to the frame assembly reposition to support the bed when in the deployed condition. In use, deploying the backrest forms a first bed positioned over the second bed to form a bunk bed sleeping provision for use, for example, during flight.
Overhead accommodations for aircraft
An accessible storage, rest, or work accommodation for an aircraft having a passenger cabin with a ceiling and a crown space above the ceiling, comprising: (a) a compartment in the crown space having at least one bunk; (b) an aperture in the passenger cabin ceiling, connecting the compartment to the passenger cabin; (c) a landing positioned below a floor of the compartment, below at least a portion of the aperture, inside the passenger cabin module; and (d) stairs or a ladder leading from the landing to a floor of the passenger cabin.
ECONOMICAL SOLUTION FOR INFLIGHT MEDICAL EMERGENCIES AND SLEEPING NEEDS
A system for supporting a passenger to lie flat between two rows of passenger seats is disclosed. The system includes a bed configured to support a passenger between a fore passenger seat and an aft passenger seat. The bed includes a diaphragm that includes a fore connector configured to couple to a fore coupler of the fore passenger seat, and an aft connector configured to couple to an aft coupler of the aft passenger seat. The bed further includes a mattress coupled to the diaphragm.
BERTHING DIVAN WITH FINISHED BACKREST PANEL AND ROLLER SUPPORT MECHANISMS
A berthing divan for use in a conveyance such as an aircraft. In embodiments, the berthing divan includes a frame supporting a seat bottom subassembly and a backrest subassembly coupled for synchronous motion between a seating position and a berthing position. A finished backrest panel is attached to the frame. A plurality of roller support mechanisms are attached to the backrest subassembly and are configured to roll against the backrest panel as the divan transitions between the seating position and the berthing position, and are configured to support the backrest subassembly in each of the seating position and the berthing position of the divan.
Cabin isolation assemblies
An isolation section assembly includes a section housing defining an interior space. The section housing includes a door with access to the interior space. The isolation section assembly includes an enclosure abutting the door. The airlock enclosure defines an interior airlock space. The interior airlock space is configured and adapted to be at a negative pressure relative to a cabin area. An air recirculation system in fluid communication with at least one of the interior space of the section housing or the interior airlock space.
Aeromedical ambulance equipment
The invention provides aeromedical ambulance equipment. In some embodiments, the equipment includes a module base comprising a mount assembly having an unlocked configuration and a locked configuration. The mount assembly preferably can be adjusted between the unlocked and locked configurations by a tool-free operation. In addition, certain embodiments provide a module base having an advantageous system for releasably locking a stretcher onto the module base.
ACTIVE NOISE CANCELLATION OF ENGINE NOISE AT SLEEPING LOCATIONS ON AIRCRAFT
In accordance with certain aspects, noise cancellation systems and methods are utilized to mitigate engine tonal noise at sleeping locations in the aircraft cabin space. In one embodiment, an onboard noise cancellation system is provided that includes a plurality of microphones, the plurality of microphones, and a plurality of speakers, and a noise cancellation circuit. In this embodiment the plurality of speakers are arranged proximate to a bed in the sleeping area of the aircraft cabin. Likewise, the plurality of speakers are arranged proximate to the proximate to the bed in the sleeping area. The noise cancellation circuit is further coupled to the plurality of speakers, and the noise cancellation circuit is configured to drive the plurality of speakers to generate noise cancellation audio to at least partially cancel engine noise in a region above the bed.
