Multifunctional container system for producing a container utilizable in a cargo compartment of an aircraft
A multifunctional container system for producing a container for a cargo compartment of an aircraft includes a first lateral container component, which forms a first lateral surface of the container that is at least partially beveled, a first lower resting surface having first fastening devices and a first top side, a second lateral container component, which forms a second lateral surface of the container that is at least partially beveled, a second lower resting surface having second fastening devices and a second top side, and a floor cladding. The cladding is selectively positionable between the first resting surface and the second resting surface, which enclose a continuous gap to each other and comprise a predetermined distance to each other and to create a protrusion that faces away from the first and second top side. The protrusion extends into a recess of a floor in a cargo compartment.
MODULAR SEAT
Disclosed is a modular seat for aircraft. The system has a frame that is able to be interconnected with other frames laterally. Since each lateral frame has the same pivot points (when viewed from the side), the linked seats rotate together. The seats also include buckle lugs which enable a particular seat to be used on either side of the aircraft.
VEHICLE WITH FLAT SEAT
A vehicle with a flat seat may include a floor portion having a leg groove recessed downward from a surface of the floor portion; a seatback disposed on the floor portion and reclining by a rotation of the lower end; a seat cushion disposed on the floor portion ahead of the seatback; and a leg cushion disposed in the leg groove of the floor portion and having a rear portion rotatably coupled to the seat cushion.
High end business class seating arrangement
Described are seating arrangements having at least one aisle column with at least one high bed seating unit and at least one low bed seating unit, and at least one non-aisle column having at least one high bed seating unit and at least one low bed seating unit. The at least one high bed seating unit in the at least one aisle column is positioned laterally proximate the at least one low bed seating unit in the at least one non-aisle column, and the at least one low bed seating unit in the at least one aisle column is positioned laterally proximate the at least one high bed seating unit in the at least one non-aisle column.
Passenger rest compartments for remote aircraft spaces
Passenger rest compartments may be incorporated into remote areas of an aircraft, either in the overhead crown region or in lower lobe cargo decks. Each passenger rest compartment includes two-way audio communication with the flight deck and non-intrusive non-visual monitoring of the compartments and surrounding environment to determine passenger presence, absence, and general well-being as well as environmental safety. Rest compartments may be integrated into rest cabins in the overhead or lower lobe areas, the rest cabins accessible from the main passenger cabin via an entry vestibule providing dedicated enclosed paths to the overhead and lower cabins. Additional deployable egress hatches may allow passengers to rapidly return to the main deck from the overhead and lower lobe cabins in the event of an emergency. Selected passenger seats (e.g., partitioned or other premium seats) may include private access to passenger rest compartments.
Passenger accommodation systems including partition walls
Passenger accommodation systems are described. An example passenger accommodation system can be disposed in an aircraft and can include a passenger seating deck, a plurality of passenger seats disposed within the passenger seating deck, and a partition wall disposed within the passenger seating deck so as to separate the plurality of passenger seats into a first set of passenger seats and a second set of passenger seats. The partition wall can be aligned with a longitudinal axis extending in the direction of travel of the aircraft. Movement of passengers between the first set of seats and the second set of seats may not impeded by the partition wall.

Cantilevered mattress
A cantilevered mattress that can be positioned along a row of airline seats to provide a resting surface for a user includes a mattress pad and an at least one cantilever. The at least one cantilever is adjacently connected to the mattress pad and laterally extends from the mattress pad in order to engage with the airline seats. The mattress pad includes a padded layer and a plurality of bottom supports, wherein the padded layer cushions the user and the plurality of bottom supports maintain the padded layer in a flat position across the airline seats. The padded layer has a first section that is hinged to a second section, allowing the first section to be lifted and thus enabling the user to take a seated position during takeoff and landing. A seatback cover and privacy curtain may also be included to provide additional privacy, storage, lighting, etc.
Airliner passenger suite seating arrangements with shared aisle suite access
A four-suite unit positionable in an aircraft cabin to one side of a longitudinal aisle and including first and second suites positioned longitudinally-aligned and facing each other, a shared passageway positioned between foot ends of the first and second suites, third and fourth suites positioned longitudinally-aligned and to one side of the respective first and second suites, a first passageway positioned between a portion of the first suite and a portion of the third suite for accessing the third suite from the shared passageway, and a second passageway positioned between a portion of the second suite and a portion of the fourth suite for accessing the fourth suite from the shared passageway.
Aircraft Suite Including Main Cabin Compartment and Lower Lobe Rest Compartment
An aircraft suite may include a passenger compartment disposed on a main deck of an aircraft. The passenger compartment may be partitioned from a main passenger cabin of the main deck by at least one bulkhead. The passenger compartment may include an aircraft seat and a hatch set within an opening in a floor of the passenger compartment. The aircraft suite may include a lower lobe rest compartment integrated in a cargo deck below the main deck. The lower lobe rest compartment may be proximate to the passenger compartment. The lower lobe rest compartment may include a passenger rest compartment and a device proximate to the hatch. The device may be configured to assist a passenger to at least one of descend into the lower lobe rest compartment from the passenger compartment, or ascend into the passenger compartment from the lower lobe rest compartment, via the hatch.
