Galley systems for an internal cabin of a vehicle

A galley system within an internal cabin of an aircraft includes one or more inboard cart compartments that are configured to removably retain one or more first galley carts, and one or more outboard cart compartments. The outboard cart compartment(s) are configured to removably retain one or more second galley carts. The inboard cart compartment(s) extend forwardly and/or rearwardly in relation to the outboard cart compartment(s).

Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for a galley lift. In one embodiment, the galley lift includes an upper portion and a lower portion. The upper portion can have a lift platform and a lift platform ram extension. The lower portion can have a lift mechanism and a ram. In some embodiments, the lift platform ram extension is attached to the ram.

The first door may reversibly rotate about the hinge connection between an open position and a closed position. The second door comprises a second part of the catch and is hingedly connected to a part of the galley equipment which is not the first door or supported on the first door. The second door may reversibly rotate about the hinge connection between an open position and a closed position.

The aircraft galley insert further includes one or more operating load components electrically coupled to the at least one electronic component via one or more electrical lines. In one or more embodiments, the control unit housing is configured to provide a grounding path for radiated emissions produced by the at least one electronic component by transferring radiated emissions back to the at least one electronic component.

A bin has a top side with at least one attachment point that includes: a stud mechanically coupled to the top side and a screw disposed within the stud. The stud includes a rounded flange configured to insert into the receptacle for removably securing the bin beneath the liner. An installation method for an overhead bin in an aircraft includes raising the overhead bin to engage the stud with the receptacle, sliding the overhead bin outboard for inserting the stud into the receptacle, and turning a screw within the stud for tightening the stud within the receptacle for securing the overhead bin beneath the ceiling.

A first surface of the carrier plate in the deployment position of the pull-out member is located in a deployment plane and protrudes with respect to the shelf structure and is located in the insertion position at least partially inside the shelf structure. The display device in the deployment position of the pull-out member can be pivoted about a centre of rotation between a storage position, in which the display device extends parallel with the deployment plane, and a position for use, in which the display device extends transversely relative to the deployment plane.
