LEGREST FOR AN AIRCRAFT PASSENGER SEAT, COMPRISING A DEVICE
A legrest for an aircraft passenger seat, comprising a device, wherein: the device has a housing; the housing has two housing halves; the two housing halves are pivotally connected to one another; the housing is designed such that a life jacket for an aircraft passenger can be stowed therein; a seat cover for the aircraft passenger seat can be provided on one housing half, so that the device forms part of the usage surface of the legrest; and the device can be provided on a main structure of the legrest.
AIRCRAFT CABIN SECTION AND AIRCRAFT HAVING AN AIRCRAFT CABIN SECTION
An aircraft cabin section with an aircraft door, a cabin floor, and at least one lining mounted to the aircraft door. The aircraft cabin section further comprises at least one seal that is mounted to the at least one lining and seals a space between the at least one lining and the cabin floor. This prevents a cold air draft from entering the aircraft cabin.
Passenger Seat Crash Safety System
A safety system for aircraft passenger seats is described. A pallet that can be removably coupled to seats can also be removably coupled to the aircraft floor and one or more brackets, tension fittings, or machined straps that can be coupled to structural beams or components in an aircraft. A keel tension fitting can be attached to a keel beam and then be coupled to the pallet and thereby the seats. By attaching to the keel beam the safety system allows the seating arrangement (pallet and seats) to withstand greater stresses and forces, resulting in increased safety.
Rotating armrest assembly
An armrest assembly for a passenger seat includes a moveable arm including a proximal end and a distal end, a stowed configuration wherein the moveable arm is disposed adjacent and approximately parallel to a seatback of the passenger seat, and a deployed configuration wherein the moveable arm is approximately parallel to a seat pan of the passenger seat. The moveable arm may include a first portion and a second portion. The armrest assembly may include a first rotation axis such that the moveable arm pivots about the first rotation axis when moving between the stowed configuration and the deployed configuration. The armrest assembly may include a second rotation axis such that the second portion pivots about the second rotation axis relative to the first portion.
Methods and systems for remote piloting a two-pilot aircraft for extended flights
A system for both onboard piloting and remote piloting an aircraft having thereon at least one onboard pilot includes an aircraft having an onboard flight control system, onboard flight control devices, and onboard condition indicators mounted proximal the pilot seat. A remote flight control system, in electronic communication with the onboard flight control system, includes remote flight control devices and remote condition indicators. At least in a remote piloting mode, the onboard flight control system transmits flight and aircraft condition-related signals to the remote flight control system, receives flight control signals from the remote flight control system, and actuates, according to the flight control signals received from the remote flight control system, onboard actuators thereby remote piloting the aircraft. In the remote piloting mode, the aircraft may be cooperatively piloted by a remote pilot and at least one alert onboard pilot as another onboard pilot rests.
SEAT, IN PARTICULAR FOR AN AIRCRAFT, WITH A SINGLE ACTUATOR
The invention relates to a seat, in particular for an aircraft, including: a seat support, a seat base, a backrest hinged relative to the seat base by means of a pivot link, a leg rest hinged relative to the seat base by means of a pivot link, the seat being able to move between a sitting position and a bed position in which the backrest and the leg rest are situated in a continuation of the seat base, the seat base being mounted so as to be able to slide relative to the seat support, the seat comprising at least one connecting rod, referred to as the backrest pivot connecting rod, comprising a first end connected in rotation relative to the backrest and a second end connected in rotation relative to the seat support, the leg rest being mechanically connected to the backrest by means of a connecting rod deployment device, the seat further comprising a single actuator capable alone of moving a set of components of the seat formed at least by the seat base, the backrest, and the leg rest in order to move the seat from its sitting position to its bed position and vice versa.
TABLE PANEL FOR AN AIRCRAFT PASSENGER SEAT
A table panel for an aircraft passenger seat, wherein the table panel comprises a panel component having two mutually opposite main sides, wherein the main sides are delimited by a component periphery having straight peripheral portions. The panel component has a multiplicity of mutually separated material clearances so that the panel component has a reduced mass in relation to a solid material panel that in terms of the thickness and the footprint area corresponds to the panel component and has an initial volume of the solid material, wherein the material clearances are in each case open in relation to the main side of the panel component, and wherein the sum of the volumes of all material clearances in the panel component result in a clearance volume of the panel component, wherein the clearance volume of the panel component is at least 20 percent of the initial volume.
AIRCRAFT PASSENGER SEAT, AND SEAT ROW
A passenger seat having a frame is proposed, wherein the frame is intended for securing to a floor of a passenger cabin, wherein the frame comprises a seat divider and beams that run transverse to the seat direction, wherein the seat divider is held by the beams, wherein a housing is disposed on the seat divider, wherein the housing at least partly surrounds a backrest. According to the invention, a structure component is disposed on the seat divider, with an attachment unit for a safety belt for a passenger disposed on the structure component.
AIRCRAFT PASSENGER SEAT WITH ENCLOSURE
An aircraft passenger seat is proposed, having an enclosure and a base component of a backrest of the aircraft passenger seat, wherein the base component assumes an upright position during the use of the backrest. According to the invention, a securing device is provided for releasably securing the base component in the upright position, wherein a securing element of the securing device is adjustable from a securing position of the securing element on the securing device into a release position of the securing element, wherein, in order to lock the securing element in the securing position, a movable locking member of the securing device comes to bear against a latching contour on the securing element in such a manner that the securing element is locked in the securing position.
AIRCRAFT PASSENGER SEAT AND SEAT ROW
The invention proposes an aircraft-passenger seat comprising a structural component on which a table top of the aircraft-passenger seat is mounted via an articulation arrangement such that it can be pivoted about a pivot axis of the articulation arrangement, so that the table top can be pivoted from an upright position of the table top, in which the latter has been swung up against the structural component, from a use position of the table top, in which the latter projects from the structural component, and back out of the use position into the upright position. According to the invention, the articulation arrangement comprises a damping device, which is designed to damp the pivoting movement of the table top between the upright position of the table top and the use position of the table top.
