Aircraft seat power via inductive coupling
A wireless power delivery system for aircraft seats includes an NFC power receiving device disposed at a known location proximal to floor rail bracket engaging portion of the seat, and an NFC power delivery device engages a corresponding bracket disposed underneath the aircraft floor. The brackets are aligned to each other to ensure the disposition of the NFC power delivery device is sufficiently close to the NFC power receiving device to effectively transfer power. The NFC power delivery device is disposed in a cargo container. Bracket engaging elements in the seat rows include features that indicate a location on a lower bracket to align the NFC power receiving device to the NFC power delivery device.
Passenger seat with comfort layout
A passenger seat (10) with a sitting area (40), a side ottoman (42), an open space (44) that may be enclosed via use of a bed extension (50), and a backrest (14). The backrest may be divided into an upper portion and a lower portion. The seat may also be provided with one or more storage areas and/or a side console.
Arrangement of individual seats for passengers of an aeroplane equipped with screen supports forming a separating wall
An arrangement of individual seats intended to be installed in an aeroplane cabin includes at least one module of two seats disposed opposite one another, said module having a longitudinal elongation direction, characterized in that said arrangement further comprises: a console disposed between the two seats of the module; a screen connected to each seat, each screen being mounted on a screen support; the screen supports being movable between a stowed position and a deployed operating position, in which the screen supports are positioned substantially edge-to-edge and form a partition wall between the two seats located opposite one another.
Kit of parts for assembling an aircraft seat unit
The invention provides a kit of parts for assembling an aircraft seat unit, comprising a frame with a slot, a panel for forming a shell of the aircraft seat unit and defining a footprint of the aircraft seat unit, having a first end and a second opposite end, the first end configured to be slid in and out of the frame slot to provide a variable dimension from the frame to second opposite end of the panel, and a fixing mechanism for fixing the panel within the frame slot, in a configuration providing a desired value of aircraft seat unit variable dimension. The invention also provides a plurality of such kits of parts, an aircraft seat unit and an aircraft cabin comprising a plurality of such aircraft seat units or made from such kit of parts, and methods of installing an aircraft seat unit.
Self-stowage assembly for a seat
A seat with self-stowage capability is provided. The seat includes a seat pan lever which is rotatable between stowed and open positions, a fixed seat structure and an elastic assembly. The fixed seat structure includes an annulus. The elastic assembly includes a damper and an arc-spring disposable within the annulus to permit first rotations of the seat pan lever from the stowed position to the open positions and to urge second rotations of the seat pan lever from the open positions to the stowed position.
Integrated seating armrest, stowage and bed surface
An aircraft seat for an aircraft passenger compartment suite is disclosed. In embodiments, the aircraft seat includes a primary section including a primary seatback portion and a primary seat base portion, and an auxiliary section including an auxiliary seatback portion and an auxiliary seat base portion. In embodiments, the aircraft seat may further include an actuatable element configured to actuate between an open position and a closed position. The actuatable element may include a first surface which defines at least a portion of the auxiliary seatback portion when the actuatable element is in the closed position, and a second surface which defines a surface of an armrest when the actuatable element is in the open position.
Aircraft armrest with locking adjustable arm pad
An armrest is disclosed that includes an armrest subframe configured to couple to an arm of the seat that includes a slot within a face of the armrest subframe configured to receive a stop pin. The armrest further includes an arm pad translatably coupled to the armrest subframe and includes a plurality of grooves formed on one edge of the armrest subframe. The arm pad further includes the stop pin that restricts the translation of the arm pad and a spring anchor. The armrest further includes a lever rotationally coupled to the armrest that includes a locking pin configured to engage one or more grooves of the plurality of grooves, and an actuating end, wherein a movement of the actuating end at least one of engages or disengages the locking pin from the one or more grooves of the plurality of grooves. The armrest further includes a biasing spring.
PASSENGER SEAT UNIT WITH FOLDABLE DOOR
A passenger seating unit for a vehicle, such as an aircraft, includes a privacy shell and a door. The privacy shell at least partially defines a passenger seat area, and the privacy shell includes an opening for allowing entry to and exit from the seat unit. A passenger seat may be provided in the passenger seat area. The door is supported on the privacy shell and includes a first panel and a second panel. The second panel is pivotably connected to the first panel such that the second panel is movable relative to the first panel between a folded position and an unfolded position. In the folded position, the door is movable in a forward and aft direction relative to the privacy shell.
FASTENING DEVICE FOR RELEASABLE CONNECTION TO A PERFORATED RAIL OF AN AIRCRAFT AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLY
A fastening device for releasable connection to a perforated rail of an aircraft and a method of assembly for such a fastening device. The fastening device comprises a housing having at least one locking head portion fixedly connected to the housing, at least one shear pin and an actuating pin. The locking head portion is insertable into a rail hole of the perforated rail and slidable along the longitudinal direction of the perforated rail to a locking position in which the locking head portion engages a slot portion of the perforated rail. The shear pin can be engaged with a rail hole of the perforated rail by axial displacement. The actuating pin is rotatably arranged relative to the housing and connected to the shear pin in such a way that a rotation of the actuating pin causes an axial displacement of the shear pin relative to the housing.
Aircraft projection device
An aircraft projection device includes a projector that displays an image by projecting the image onto a floor surface of a passage in an interior of an aircraft; and a controller that controls the projector to display the image onto the floor surface of the passage in the interior of the aircraft.
