AIRCRAFT SEAT DEVICE, AIRCRAFT SEAT, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE AIRCRAFT SEAT DEVICE, AND MODULAR SYSTEM
An aircraft seat device has a multi-part backrest frame unit comprising at least one first side frame element, at least one second side frame element, which is arranged on a side of the backrest frame unit that is opposite from the first side frame element, and at least one transverse frame element which is realized separately from the side frame elements and connects the side frame elements, wherein the transverse frame element is realized at least substantially plate-shaped.
SEAT RAIL SYSTEM FOR AN INTERIOR SPACE OF A VEHICLE
A seat rail system for an interior space of a vehicle includes a seat rail having a plurality of attachment sockets arranged in a row along a longitudinal extension of the seat rail. Each attachment socket has an at least partly spheroid concave bearing surface. Two coupling openings are embedded in each concave bearing surface; an attachment stud having an at least partly spheroid or cylindroid convex bearing surface with a curvature corresponding to a curvature of the concave bearing surface of the attachment sockets. A coupling pin is arranged on or in the convex bearing surface and configured to enter one of the attachment openings to couple the attachment stud to the seat rail. A locking pin is configured to enter the respective other attachment opening through a through hole in the attachment stud and thereby lock the attachment stud to the seat rail.
SEAT TRACK ASSEMBLY FOR USE IN AN AIR VEHICLE
A seat track assembly for use in a vehicle. The seat track assembly includes a floor joist including a main body extending in a longitudinal direction, a seat track channel defined in the main body, and at least one support flange extending in a lateral direction from the main body. A raceway is on the at least one support flange, wherein the raceway extends longitudinally along the floor joist, and has an interior sized to receive wiring therein. The seat track assembly also includes a track cover including a top plate. The raceway is positioned between the at least one support flange and the top plate, and the top plate extends past the raceway in the lateral direction.
Rail arrangement for an inner space of an aircraft
A rail arrangement for an inner space of an aircraft has a first portion having first rails for receiving passenger seats and having second rails which extend transversely relative to the first rails for receiving fittings. The rails are secured to a floor structure which is arranged in the inner space. The securing of the fittings is consequently decoupled from the floor structure.
LINING ELEMENT OF AN EDGE OF AN AERONAUTICAL SEAT SHELL, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING AND METHOD FOR SETTING UP SUCH AN ELEMENT
A flexible element for lining an edge of an aeronautical seat shell, made up of an assembly of at least two elongate, flexible and planar cut pieces, secured together by respective longitudinal boundaries so that the assembly has a three-dimensional shape matching with an edge of an aeronautical seat shell.
A method for manufacturing such a lining element, as well as a method for setting up such a lining element over an aeronautical seat shell.
PASSENGER POSITIONING DEVICES FOR AIRCRAFT SEATS FOR REGULATORY COMPLIANCE
The present disclosure provides an aircraft passenger seat installable in an aircraft cabin at an angle relative to an aircraft longitudinal axis. The passenger seat includes movable or shape changing seat elements for temporarily re-indexing the passenger orientation according to at least one predetermined flight condition such that the seat assembly meets predefined regulatory certification criteria in at least one of the predetermined flight conditions. The present disclosure further provides a method for effecting a temporary change in position of a seated passenger relative to the aircraft longitudinal axis (i.e., direction of flight) according to at least one predetermined flight condition.
Aircraft seating assemblies
A seating assembly may employ one or more of: a seat stagger, a seat overlap, and a seat angling to offer significant width and comfort gains and reduce the negative impact of width and leg room gains on seating density. With one seat of a pair staggered forward with respect to the other seat each may then be moved laterally and overlap (as seen from the front). The seating positions may be further improved by angling each seat away from their center arm rest area, reducing the encroaching effect of the overlap by pointing the passenger away from the overlap, reducing the visual impact of the staggered seating by pointing the passenger away from the nearest seat ahead, and improving leg room by directing the passenger's legs forward at an angle.
TRAY TABLE WITH MAGNETIC DETENT AND/OR INTERLOCK
A telescopic rail system includes rails slidably interconnected with each other such that the rails slide relative to each other along a longitudinal axis. The rails are configured to be operatively connected to a carriage such that the rails guide movement of the carriage between an extended position and a retracted position. The rails include first and second magnetic detents configured to releasably hold the carriage in a partially-extended position and the extended position, respectively.
TRAY TABLE WITH DETENT MECHANISM
A detent mechanism is provided for a tray table of an aircraft. The detent mechanism includes an actuator configured to move along with a table leaf of the tray table as the table leaf rotates between a stowed position and a deployed position of the table leaf. The detent mechanism includes a follower biased toward an open position of the follower. The follower is configured to be moved against the bias from the open position into a closed position of the follower by engagement of the actuator with the follower as the table leaf rotates from the stowed position into the deployed position. The follower includes a magnetic component configured to releasably hold the follower in the closed position.
