Airplane Cockpit Tablet Mount
An airplane cockpit tablet mount used to allow for the mounting of a tablet computer into the instrument panel of the aircraft. The tablet mount has means for rotating the tablet computer toward the pilot at an angle selected by the pilot during operation. The tablet mount allows for ease of locking the tablet into the mount and easily removing the tablet.

A device for flight data prediction includes a memory, a communication interface, and one or more processors. The memory is configured to store a departure airport map. The communication interface is configured to receive location data for a plurality of aircraft expected to arrive at or depart from a departure airport during a particular time range. The one or more processors are configured to predict, based on the location data and the departure airport map, a taxi duration or a fuel usage of a first aircraft of the plurality of aircraft. The one or more processors are also configured to generate an output based on the taxi duration or the fuel usage.

A system and method for enhanced vehicle efficiency through smart automation for an onboard weather update is provided. The system comprises a processor, and a non-transitory processor readable medium including instructions, executable by the processor, to perform a method comprising: receiving vehicle data from an onboard vehicle data source; receiving real-time weather data from one or more weather data sources; detecting when onboard forecast weather data is out-of-date or irrelevant based on the vehicle data and the real-time weather data; estimating one or more potential benefits from an update of the onboard forecast weather data; and activating the update of the onboard forecast weather data.

Flight information storage system and method of managing same for airplane
A flight information storage system for an airplane according to the present invention may include: one or more of a video acquiring device mounted on the airplane; a recording device for recording video acquired through the video acquiring device(s) during a flight of the airplane; and a travel storage device which simultaneously stores the video data recorded by the recording device. Here, the travel storage device may be a USB cartridge, and the video acquiring device may be one or both of a digital camera and a radar device. The digital camera may include a first digital camera that is installed in front of the cockpit of the airplane to capture an image to the front of the airplane during flight, and two or more second digital cameras installed behind the cockpit of the airplane to capture an image of the instrument panel of the airplane and the area surrounding the instrument panel.

A computer-implemented method for providing vehicle data to a mobile device is disclosed. The method may include: receiving raw vehicle data from one or more vehicle data streams using one or more protocols; recording the received raw vehicle data from the one or more vehicle data streams in a file format; and transmitting the recorded vehicle data to a mobile device having at least one application configured to interpret the transmitted vehicle data.

Method and system for integrating offboard generated parameters into a flight management system
Methods and systems are provided for integrating aircraft flight parameters generated by an offboard portable electronic device (PED) into an onboard flight management system (FMS). The method comprises selecting the aircraft flight parameters to be generated by the PED for use by the FMS. The current flight data is accessed for the aircraft with the FMS and providing the current flight data to the offboard PED. The rules for the aircraft flight parameters are computed with the offboard PED based on the current flight data for the aircraft and transmitted to a flight management (FM) adapter. The FM adapter confirms that the rules for the aircraft flight parameters comply with operational limits of the aircraft and then translates the rules of the aircraft flight parameters to aircraft operational targets for use by the onboard FMS. The aircraft operational targets are then loaded from the FM adapter into the FMS.
