Unmanned aerial vehicle positioning mechanism

Disclosed are unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) positioning mechanisms for moving a UAV across a surface. The positioning mechanisms comprise a first guide assembly arranged opposite to a second guide assembly. A drive system is arranged to move the first guide assembly towards the second guide assembly and guide the UAV from a first position to a second position.

INTEGRATED PUSHBACK GUIDANCE SYSTEM AND METHOD
20210362878 · 2021-11-25 · ·

An integrated pushback guidance system and method is provided for guiding pushback travel of electric taxi system-driven aircraft. The pushback guidance system may be integrated with existing ramp monitoring systems to monitor reverse pushback travel of pilot-controlled electric taxi system-driven aircraft along an optimum pushback path from a stand to a pushback end location. Visual signals relating to pushback travel safety as the pilot drives the aircraft along the pushback path are generated in real time by the system and transmitted to a range of display devices viewable by the aircraft pilot and airport personnel responsible for guiding aircraft pushback. The pilot may be guided by visual signals on only display devices or with guidance from airport personnel also viewing the visual signals on display devices to drive the aircraft safely in reverse with the electric taxi system along the pushback path to the pushback end location.

TAIL TIE-DOWN
20210354850 · 2021-11-18 ·

A tie-down for attachment to an aft tail section of an aircraft for inhibiting damage to the aircraft when the aircraft is on the ground is disclosed. The tie-down has a mount member configured to attach to the aft tail section and a projection member supported by the mount member. The projection member extends in a generally downward direction from the mount member so as to provide a contact surface with the ground that is lower than the aft tail section.

MULTICOPTER WITH SELF-ADJUSTING ROTORS
20210356974 · 2021-11-18 ·

A vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) vehicle that includes a flight controller and a rotor. During a vertical landing state, during which the VTOL vehicle is performing a vertical landing, the flight controller decides whether to switch from the vertical landing state to a self adjusting state and in the event it is decided to do so, the flight controller switches from the vertical landing state to the self adjusting state. During the self adjusting state, the flight controller generates a control signal for a rotor where the control signal causes: (1) the rotor to rotate during the self adjusting state and (2) the VTOL vehicle to stay in place during the self adjusting state, such that an occupant is able to enter or exit the VTOL vehicle during the self adjusting state.

Rotorcraft lockout during transport

An exemplary rotorcraft lockout system includes a main rotor lockout comprising a base operable to be attached to a bottom surface of a fuselage and a first and a second tension arm operable to be connected to the base and a main rotor hub, and a tail rotor lockout including a clamp operable to connect to a horizontal stabilizer, a rotor arm connector operable to connect to a tail rotor hub, and a tail rotor tension arm operable to interconnect the clamp and the rotor arm connector in tension.

Device, system and a method for magnetically docking a flying apparatus

A docking system for docking an aerial vehicle, including an interface configured to secure the docking system to a stationary element located above the ground, a housing, mechanically coupled to the interface, a docking magnetic member located in the housing, the docking magnetic member is configured to attract an aerial magnetic member of the aerial vehicle, a docking element mechanically coupled to the housing, where the docking element defines a minimal distance between the docking magnetic member and the aerial vehicle when the aerial vehicle docks in the docking system, and a maneuver mechanism for adjusting a distance between the docking element and the docking magnetic member.

AGRICULTURAL MACHINE

An agricultural machine includes a traveling vehicle body, a coupler to couple a working implement with the traveling vehicle body, and a takeoff/landing station to restrict a skid of an unmanned aerial vehicle when the unmanned aerial vehicle takes off or lands. The agricultural machine includes a protector to protect an operator's seat. The takeoff/landing station is provided on the protector. The takeoff/landing station is attached to the protector and includes an arm extending in a horizontal direction when the unmanned aerial vehicle takes off or lands.

Docking system for drones and method for operating the same

A docking system for drones and a method for operating the same include: a seat part configured to land a drone thereon; a wire provided on the seat part and configured to allow the landing drone to be hung on the wire so that the drone may land on the seat part; and tension adjusters configured to adjust tension of the wire so as to allow the drone to land at a target position of the seat part when the drone is hung on the wire.
