Modular apparatus and methods for ultraviolet (UV) light sanitization of an aircraft. The modular apparatus generally comprises a base frame that is universal, and multiple interchangeable modular kits to adapt the base frame to different aircraft cabin geometries. The base frame has integrated therewith circuitry and devices that control ultra-violet C-spectrum (UVC) light sources that are located on a frame of the modular kit. Various embodiments of the modular kits have five parts, and assemble the same way, for different aircraft cabin geometries.

The preset invention provides a washing and deicing area comprising one or more gantries to ensure different steps of the washing or the de-icing process. The structure of the one or more gantries is essentially made of telescopic arms allowing more flexibility on the positioning of nozzle clusters during the washing and de-icing process. The use of such a mechanical system is easily accommodated to different aircraft bodies regardless their sizes. The whole functionality and positioning of the system is ensured by a programmable system comprising an aircraft position detection system and an aircraft contour detection system allowing the programmable system to reposition the nozzle clusters in a preferred location while avoiding contact with the aircraft.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REGULATING THE TEMPERATURE OF THE CABIN OF AN AIRCRAFT WHEN ON THE GROUND
The system includes a computer server receiving data representative of the temperature of the cabin and including a database containing, for the aircraft, a predetermined cycle of regulation of the temperature of the air of the cabin; a ground pre-conditioned air unit including: a pre-conditioned air generator and a control module; and a user interface connected to the computer server and transmitting a control signal to the control module; and the control module, upon receiving the control signal, controlling the pre-conditioned air generator, according to the predetermined cycle, which is modulated depending on the data. This system makes it possible to control the temperature of the cabin in real time, so as to correctly disinfect it.
