DYNAMIC HEAD, NECK AND BACK ASSIST APPARATUS WITH DAMPENING MECHANISM
A body brace is described. In some examples, a first member can be attached to a torso of a human body (to middle/lower portion of the body). The body brace can also include a second member attached to a head of the human body and arranged to support a chin of the human body. The body brace can further include a third member attached between the first member and the second member to distribute a force exerted between the first member and the second member.

Device and method for the application of a curable fluid composition to a portion of a bodily organ
Disclosed are devices and methods suitable for application of a curable fluid composition to a bodily organ, such as to a lower portion of a bodily organ. The device comprises a monolithic piece of material having a lower surface, two spaced-apart sides, and two spaced-apart walls connecting the two spaced-apart sides. A receptacle for containing the curable fluid composition is defined by the lower surface, the two sides, and the two walls. At least a portion of the height of the two walls is less than the height of at least a portion of the two sides. The device is deployable underneath the bodily organ such that a lower portion of the bodily organ is supported by at least a portion of each of the two walls.

Characterization of tissue irregularities through the use of mono-chromatic light refractivity
A surgical image acquisition system includes multiple illumination sources, each source emitting light at a specified wavelength, a light sensor to receive light reflected from a tissue sample illuminated by each of the illumination sources, and a computing system. The computing system may receive data from the light sensor when the tissue sample is illuminated by the illumination sources, and calculate structural data related to one or more characteristics of a structure within the tissue. The structural data may be a surface characteristic such as a surface roughness or a structure composition such as a collagen and elastin composition. The computer system may further transmit the structural data to a smart surgical device. The smart devices may include a smart stapler, a smart RF sealing device, or a smart ultrasonic cutting device. The system may include a controller and computer enabled instructions to accomplish the above.
Surgeon Support System for Operating Tables
Systems and methods of providing an attendant support on an operating table include obtaining a cushion presenting an attendant support surface and coupling the cushion to a rail of the operating table such that the attendant support surface of the cushion is oriented at least partially laterally outward from the rail. The attendant support surface is operable to provide support to an attendant positioned adjacent to and leaning against the operating table.
Systems and methods for visual staging of medical devices
A system for visual staging includes a staging board having a plurality of receptacles spaced apart from each other and extending into a thickness of the staging board, the staging board has an anatomical image that is viewable on a top surface of the staging board. A plurality of clips are configured to be received by and extend from the plurality of receptacles such that the clips are releasably connected to the staging board. The plurality of receptacles are spaced apart from each other at strategic positions on the staging board in relation to the anatomical image.
