PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING A CROSS-LINKED PRODUCT
A process for manufacturing a cross-linked product has improved charring and thermal stability properties in which there is cross-linking of a benzoxazine monomer.
Stand-off panel thermal protection system and method of fabricating the same
A stand-off panel thermal protection system is disclosed. The system comprises a sandwich panel comprising: a first ceramic matrix composite facesheet and a second ceramic matrix composite facesheet. A ceramic matrix composite core is positioned between the first ceramic matrix composite facesheet and the second ceramic matrix composite facesheet. The ceramic matrix composite core has a perimeter. The first ceramic matrix composite facesheet and the second ceramic matrix composite facesheet extend past the perimeter to form a gap between the first ceramic matrix composite facesheet and the second ceramic matrix composite facesheet surrounding the ceramic matrix composite core. A plurality of orifices are formed through the sandwich panel. The thermal protection system further comprises a soft goods seal positioned in the gap; a plurality of insulation components; a plurality of stand-off brackets; and a plurality of fasteners positionable through the plurality of orifices to couple the sandwich panel to the plurality of brackets.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AERODYNAMIC DRAG REDUCTION IN AIRBORNE SYSTEMS AND VEHICLES
The embodiments herein disclose a retrofitted or in built or add-on kit/device for airborne vehicles to reduce the aerodynamic drag thereby increasing performance parameters/metrics of the vehicles. Drag reduction is achieved through shape/contour optimization, and/or heat/energy/fluid addition to the flow in neighbourhood of the vehicle. The device is designed with an external surface to offers the minimum drag. The device is configured to deposit heat/energy/fluid in neighbourhood of flying vehicle in several ways by generating/injecting hot gases in neighbourhood of vehicle for energy/heat addition, thereby causing maximum drag reduction. Heat/energy/fluid is added through the nozzles in the add-on kit/device.

SPACECRAFT SYSTEMS AIRLOCK FOR INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION ACCESS AND INTERFACE AND METHODS OF OPERATION
Embodiments provide a spacecraft airlock system. Embodiments provide a method and apparatus for attaching space exposed payloads to a space station. The spacecraft airlock system provides a defined volume of space payload to the international space station. The airlock further includes a means of attaching to a space station, a closed structure attached to said means, said means of attaching is capable of robotic manipulation, and a cooling system for cooling payload components within said closed structure.
Method and apparatus for providing external fuel to a rocket
A system for providing fuel and oxidant to a rocket in flight, including a rocket having at least one internal tank for storing propellant, at least one external tank for holding a liquid rocket propellant, and at least one umbilical hose in fluidic communication with the at least one internal tank and the at least one external tank. The at least one umbilical hose is configured to automatically disengage from the rocket when the rocket reaches a predetermined state such as a predetermined altitude, for example. The at least one internal tank remains in fluidic communication with the at least one external tank while the at least one umbilical hose is engaged.

Earth to orbit transportation system
Various embodiments of space launch vehicle systems and associated methods of manufacture and use are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the systems include a reusable, horizontal takeoff/horizontal landing (HTHL), ground-assisted single-stage-to-orbit (SSTO) spaceplane that is capable of providing frequent deliveries of people and/or cargo to Low Earth Orbit (LEO). In some embodiments, the spaceplane can takeoff with the aid of a rocket-powered sled that, in addition to providing additional thrust for takeoff, can also provide propellant for the spaceplane engines during the takeoff run so that the spaceplane launches with full propellant tanks.
