High-pressure water debridement system
There is disclosed a system and methods for debriding soft tissue from bone using a high-pressure water debridement system. One embodiment includes a cylindrical sleeve bounded by endcaps and having a drainage port positioned for effluent drainage. A central shaft is configured to receive a bone segment and is disposed along a longitudinal center of the sleeve and rotatively coupled between the endcaps. At least one high-pressure water nozzle is disposed on each side of the sleeve, each of which is positioned to impact the bone segment with a high-pressure water stream. A rotational actuator is configured to rotate the central shaft and the bone segment relative to the sleeve and the water nozzles such that when the high-pressure water nozzles are operational, the high-pressure water streams debride the bone segment. Other embodiments are also disclosed.

Systems and methods for peristaltic endoscope cleaning
The present disclosure is directed to endoscope cleaning systems and methods. The endoscope cleaning system can include a pump housing that houses a peristaltic pump, an endoscope sheath fluidly connected to the pump housing, and a pump control communicatively coupled to the peristaltic pump. Upon activation of the pump control, the peristaltic pump can supply fluid to the endoscope sheath for cleaning an endoscope. Upon deactivation of the pump control, the peristaltic pump can remove residual fluid from the endoscope.

SURGICAL STAPLING APPARATUS WITH CONTROL FEATURES OPERABLE WITH ONE HAND
A surgical stapling apparatus. Various embodiments include a rotatable elongated body that extends from a rotatable shroud on handle assembly and has a distal end configured for attachment to a disposable loading unit. The apparatus further includes a lockable rotation system for selectively locking the rotatable shroud to prevent rotation thereof about a longitudinal axis.
VERIFICATION OF CLEANING PROCESSES WITH ELECTRONICALLY READABLE CODED COUPON
A soil-based coupon having an electronically readable verification code printed thereon is used for verification of soil removal by a cleaning process. The coupon includes a soil overlay covering the verification code. The verification code is at least partially revealed by removal of all or part of the soil overlay during the cleaning process. If the data encoded in the verification code can be correctly decoded after completion of the cleaning process, the cleaning process can be verified. The soil overlay can be designed to match the application. The coupons may be used in a cleaning process verification procedure in which one or more computing devices analyze images of the verification codes to determine whether or not cleaning processes can be verified.
Method of Filling A Medical Washer/Disinfector
The invention relates to method of filling a medical washer/disinfector. A desired pump speed of a circulation pump is determined. A predefined filling level associated with the desired pump speed is identified. Liquid is fed into a washing chamber while the circulation pump is running at less than said desired pump speed. While the liquid is continued to be fed so that the liquid level rises, the pump speed is increased based on the rising liquid level until said desired pump speed is reached. When the pump is running at said desired pump speed, it is detected when the liquid has been filled to the predefined filling level, and upon such detection the feeding of the liquid into the washing chamber is interrupted. Then invention also relates to a method of operating a medical washer/disinfector, a control unit and a medical washer/disinfector.

SURGICAL INSTRUMENT HANDPIECE
A surgical instrument handpiece for a surgical instrument, a corresponding surgical instrument, a corresponding medical product set having the surgical instrument handpiece in combination with at least one accessory, a corresponding rinsing device, and a corresponding cleaning method for the internal flushing of the surgical instrument handpiece. The surgical instrument handpiece includes a handle section for proximal handling by an operator and a shaft section that extends from the handle section in a distal longitudinal direction. A tool is arranged or arrangeable by a user in a distal outlet opening of the shaft section at the distal end opposite the handle section. The shaft section has at least one narrowed distal tip section with a reduced cross-sectional area in the region of the distal outlet opening.
