METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING A CONNECTION, METHOD FOR CLEANING A CHANNEL ELEMENT, AND RINSING DEVICE
A method for identifying a connection between a first channel and at least one second channel located in a rinsing device. The method including: applying a first testing pressure to the first channel; reading in a first pressure signal representing a first pressure in the at least one second channel; and detecting the connection between the first channel and the at least second channel when the first pressure is one or more of at a predetermined first ratio to the testing pressure and above a predetermined first threshold.
Methods Of Reprocessing A Surgical Instrument And Corresponding Reprocessed Surgical Instruments
Methods and devices for reprocessing a surgical instrument are disclosed. The surgical instrument includes a housing defining a cavity and at least one interior component disposed within the cavity. The housing is opened along a seam to access the cavity, the at least one interior component is serviced, and a mating member is applied to the housing. The housing is joined together with the mating member, and the housing is reopened along the seam to access the cavity.

CANNULA CLEANING BRUSH AND RESERVOIR
The present invention discloses a cleaning device for a medical implement. The device comprises a receptacle member containing a cleaning agent and a detachable hollow member. The hollow member is sized for inserting within the receptacle member and at least partially submerged in the cleaning agent. The hollow member having a porous body portion adapted to receive a medical implement, for example, a cannula, and a plurality of bristle clusters arranged within the body portion adapted to engage the medical implement. The hollow member is configured to allow the medical implement to move freely and axially in engagement with bristle clusters to clean and mechanically dislodge any debris therefrom. The cleaning device further facilitates to perform an aspiration function of the cannula to draw sterile liquid through an inner portion of the cannula to flush and remove debris within the cannula.

CONTROL APPARATUS, ENDOSCOPE POSITIONING STATE DETERMINATION METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY RECORDING MEDIUM
A control unit of a reprocessor main body includes a processor, the processor being configured to acquire a plurality of observation images, image pickup angles of which regarding a positioning state of an endoscope positioned in an endoscope reprocessor are different, select an image showing a first part that is a predetermined part inside the endoscope reprocessor and a second part that is a predetermined part of the endoscope, and determine whether the second part is included in a predetermined range from the first part.

Instrument flushing system
A medical instrument includes an instrument shaft with exit holes near a distal end of the shaft, a tool coupled to the distal end of the shaft, and a backend. The backend may include a mechanism that manipulates a drive element that extends through the shaft and couples to the tool, a fluid inlet, and a fluid channel assembly providing fluid communication between the fluid inlet and the proximal end of the shaft. Cleaning fluid is directed into the fluid inlet, through the fluid channel assembly, and into the shaft. A chassis or other structural piece of the backend may form part of the fluid channel assembly.

Endoscope connecting tube, liquid feeding apparatus, and endoscope reprocessing method
An endoscope connecting tube includes a liquid feeding index including: an exterior; an exposure hole provided on the exterior; and a flow path; and a movable member that is brought into a convex warp state toward a surface direction of the exterior when an inner pressure of a flow path reaches a predetermined value or higher, and remains in the convex warp state even when the inner pressure of the flow path reaches less than the predetermined value; and a marker that projects from the exposure hole by the movable member being brought into the convex warp state; a releasing portion that releases the convex warp state of the movable member by causing the marker to slide and push the movable member; and an insertion path into which the releasing portion is inserted.
