DEVICE FOR CLASSIFYING FETAL ECG
Some embodiments are directed to a device for processing a fetal electrocardiogram (fECG). The processing may include obtaining a fetal vector cardiogram (VCG) from said multiple ECG signals, and providing the fetal vector cardiogram as an input to the machine learning classifier configured with trained parameters, and obtain a classification from the machine learning classifier.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DETERMINING GESTATIONAL AGE
Described is a device for determining gestational age and methods for determining gestational age at birth by measuring parameters associated with photobiological properties of the skin such as reflectance or reflectivity by measuring diffused or scattered portions of the light beam incident on the skin, as well as the erythema index, along with clinical parameters of the newborn such as gender, the use of phototherapy, birth weight and time spent in incubator. The ability to obtain a realistic estimate of the age of the conceptus quickly, non-invasively and at low cost makes it possible to provide care suited to the needs of the newborn, to assess the chances of survival and to affect the short- and long-term prognosis of the newborn. The correct determination of gestational age at birth also influences clinical follow-up protocols in infancy and vital statistics.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING FETAL WELLBEING
A system for monitoring fetal wellbeing over time during pregnancy includes a sensor coupled to a pregnant woman; a processor communicatively coupled to the sensor; and a computer-readable medium having non-transitory, processor-executable instructions stored thereon. Execution of the instructions causes the processor to perform a method including: acquiring a signal from a sensor; processing the signal to identify and extract a parameter of interest from the signal; and analyzing the parameter of interest to determine a degree of fetal wellbeing. The parameter of interest may include one or more of: an average fetal heart rate, an average fetal heart rate variability, a fetal kick or movement count, an average placental oxygenation level, an average placental temperature, an average placental pH, an average amount of amniotic fluid, a fetal heart rate profile, a fetal heart rate variability profile, and a fetal movement profile.
ANALYZING SENSOR DATA FOR EARLY DETECTION OF MEDICAL CONDITIONS
A computer-implemented method includes: monitoring, by a computing device, exposed stimuli based on sensor data; monitoring, by the computing device, a response to the stimuli based on the sensor data; detecting, by the computing device, a deviation between the response to the stimuli and an expected response to the stimuli, wherein the expected response to the stimuli is determined based on information stored by a knowledge corpus; and executing, by the computing device, a deviation instruction based on the detecting the deviation.
GENERATING A MATERNAL NUTRITION PLAN FOR PREGNANT WOMEN TO PREVENT FETAL CHRONIC DISEASES
Utilizing a computing device to generate a personalized maternal nutrition plan for a pregnant mother. The computing device receives real-time maternal physiological data, fetal physiological data, and real-time environmental data associated with the pregnant mother. A real-time relationship is established. The real-time relationship is compared with historically established relationships between pregnant mothers and fetuses. The maternal physiological data is compared with pre-pregnancy data of the pregnant mother. The computing device detects one or more abnormalities in the real-time established relationship between the pregnant mother and the fetus based upon the comparison of the real-time established relationship with historically established relationships and the comparison of the maternal physiological data with pre-pregnancy data of the pregnant mother. The computing device generates a maternal nutrition plan. A notification is generated by the computing device and outputted to one or more electronic devices associated with the pregnant mother and/or one or more physicians.
Operation scenario flow and mechanical modeling and analysis system of cardiovascular repair operations for newborn and foetus
This invention is related to an operation scenario flow, mechanical modeling and analysis system comprising web based, (i) growth (ii) scaling and (iii) quality control aimed, patient based fast prototyping functions, for newborn and fetus cardiovascular repair operations, developed in order to be used for training of doctors and patient specific post surgery performance prediction in hospitals following and prior to, cardiovascular operations within the field of bioengineering in the health sector. Moreover it can be used for both vivo implantation plans of patient specific cardiovascular devices (custom cardiac valve and cardiac support pumps) and adaptation of said devices to the physiology of the patient.
RISK STRATIFICATION METHOD FOR A PATIENT HAVING A POLYMORPHISM
A risk stratification method for a patient in a disease state and specifically patients presenting a tumor, includes determining if the patient is a homozygote or heterozygote and further determining the allelic expression for the patient, CC, T/C, or C/T. For patients having the cytosine methylated, they have a C/T allelic expression and patients without a methylated cytosine have a T/C allelic expression, A patient with a TT allelic expression is classified as a highest risk patient, a patient with a T/C allelic expression is classified as a second highest risk, patient, a patient with a C/T allelic expression is classified as a third highest risk patient and a patient with a CC allelic expression is classified as a lowest risk patient. The risk stratification method may further include identification of an abnormal expression or mutation/function of a gene product produced by CTCF binding site 6.
METHOD FOR IMPROVING THE QUALITY AND QUANTITY OF OFFSPRING IN MAMMALS
The present disclosure relates to methods for predicting fertility and/or confirming the success of pregnancy and/or litter size in mammals. Novel methods and devices for field testing of mammal samples for pregnancy success and reproduction prosperity (fecundity) are also included.
SYSTEM FOR MONITORING FETAL STATUS DURING CHILD BIRTH
During childbirth process, trauma to an infant can readily arise, ultimately resulting in fetal hypoxia, academia, and brain damage. Such unfavorable conditions can be prevented by measuring the fetus' blood-oxygen level and heart rate. Without a fetal pulse oximeters, blood oxygen level cannot be monitored non-invasively reliably, which reduces the chance for birth complications to be recognized in time. A noninvasive system to implement such goals and maximize the potential welfare of the fetus may include devices to measure oxygen saturation of hemoglobin (SpO2) that have been available for at least 50 years. Such a device may be an oxy probe that uses a trans-reflective method of SpO2 measurement where oxygen saturation data can be transmitted through wire, fiber optics, and or using a radio frequency link, fetal monitor data can be analyzed, compared to existing data base, and or transmitted via radio waves or internet.
