MATERNAL AND FETAL MONITORING DEVICE USING MULTIPLE SENSING UNITS
A maternal and fetal monitoring device using multiple sensing units is disclosed. The maternal and fetal monitoring device comprises: a processor module and a plurality of sensor modules, wherein each said sensor module comprises: an inertial sensor, a temperature sensor and a first acoustic sensor. After being attached onto a maternal body, each said sensor module collects a body temperature signal, an inertia signal and a sound signal. Subsequently, the processor module determines a maternal body posture by analyzing the inertia signal, determines a maternal physical condition and a fetal physical condition by analyzing the inertial signal, the plurality of first sound signals and the second sound signal, and estimates physiological parameters of the maternal body and a fetus by analyzing the body temperature sensing signal, the plurality of first sound signals, and the second sound signals.
Detection Probe and Fetal Monitor
A detection probe and a fetal monitor. The detection probe comprises a probe body (2) and a mounting structure (1), detachably mounted on the probe body (2) and having a heart rate sensor for heart rate detection, a socket (4) for data transmission, and a lead line (5) for connecting the heart rate sensor and the socket (4) arranged thereon. A variety of functions can be achieved by means of a single detection device and thus the degree of integration is high; moreover, when the heart rate sensor is failed or aged, because the mounting structure (1) can be separated from the probe body (2), it is only necessary to repair and replace a corresponding part, so that the maintenance is convenient and the cost is reduced. Furthermore, the mounting structure (1) can also product the probe body (2) to some extent, and thus the anti-dropping capability of the detection probe is improved.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF BLOOD-TYPE PREDICTIVE ANALYSIS
Computer systems and methods of predictive analysis can be instrumental when expecting parents want to know their child's blood type. In some embodiments, the system described herein may include a processor coupled to memory, wherein the processor is operable to receive information about each parent's blood type, including the dominant-recessive allele pairs. This system can generate a first matrix of a plurality of dominant-recessive allele pairs corresponding to both parents including statistics for all combinations of the dominant-recessive allele pairs. Further, the system can generate a second matrix for all possible parental blood type pairings including the relative weights of probability associated with each blood type. In some embodiments, the system can generate a row vector specific to both parent's blood type. As output, the system can generate and display a probability rate corresponding to each possible blood type of a child and blood donor matching.
FETAL HEART RATE MONITORING DEVICE AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THEREOF
The present document relates to a fetal heart rate monitoring device for monitoring a heart rate of a fetus. The device comprises a carrier that is attachable to a body, a fetal electrocardiographic sensor for providing an output signal, and a reference sensor for filtering the output signal. The device also comprises an actuator arrangement comprising a plurality of actuators distributed in an area around the fetal electrocardiographic sensor. Each actuator is configured for providing a haptic signal to the body. A controller communicatively connects to the fetal electrocardiographic sensor to receive the output signal, and to control the actuators for providing a haptic feedback signal to the body dependent on the output signal. The document also relates to a control method for such a device.
System for evaluating the maturation of a premature baby
The invention relates to a non-invasive system for determining the maturation of a baby, which comprises a module for sampling a cardiac or electroencephalographic signal from a baby and advantageously performs a conversion of a plurality of temporal samples derived from the cardiac signal or from the electroencephalic signal into a visibility graph, then a determination of at least one index on the basis of this visibility graph, a comparison of at least one determined index with one or more statistical indices representative of the maturation of a plurality of babies and a visual representation of a distance between at least one determined index and the statistical indices.
SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND METHODS FOR TRACKING ABDOMINAL ORIENTATION AND ACTIVITY FOR TREATMENT AND PREVENTION OF PRESSURE SORES
Methods and devices for monitoring and changing the physical orientation of an individual are provided. A method includes providing a wearable device that monitors the physical orientation of an individual, monitoring the physical orientation over time using the wearable device, and issuing an alert from the wearable device to change the physical orientation by a prescribed amount when the individual has maintained the physical orientation for a duration exceeding a maximum length. The wearable device is optionally configured to issue subsequent alerts upon determining that the physical orientation has not changed following the duration. The alerts are optionally of varying natures and issued to, for example, the individual, people nearby, and/or caregivers outside the individual's room.
MULTIPLEXED WEARABLE SENSORS FOR PREGNANCY MONITORING AND APPLICATIONS OF SAME
A sensor network for pregnancy monitoring of a subject includes a plurality of sensor systems time-synchronized to each other, each sensor system placed on a respective region of the subject and having a sensor member configured to detect data associated with at least one of physiological parameters of the subject, and a Bluetooth low energy system-on-a-chip configured to process and transmit the detected data; and a controller adapted in wireless communication with the plurality of sensor systems and configured to receive, from the plurality of sensor systems, to process, and to display the physiological parameters.
